Hi, first ensure that you have a micro sd memory expansion fitted to the card as the phone has no room in its time memory for downloading music into it. Connect your (powered up) phone to your PC via the usb lead provided with the phone. When connected, the phone should beep and give you the options of Mass storage, webcam or com port. tap mass storage Double click my computer, there should now be another removable disk icon.If you're not sure which one, disconnect the phone and the relevant icon will disappear. repead the connection proceedure and the icon will re-appear. Double click on this icon and you will see various folders. Dreg and drop your music into the my music folder and at this point your music should be transferred to your i68. These phones are marmitev (you love 'em or hat 'em. I LOVE mine! hope this helps
when you hook your i9 up to the computer you should see something pop up saying that your phone is connected open up that file then you should be able to drag music into it its good to download limewire or frostwire they both give you free music downloads
The CECT i9 and i68+ have JAVA. Unfortunately, most of the free JAVA games out there, are designed for keypad input. You will have to look for specifically "touch screen" apps and games. And among those, not all of them will work. I am afraid it's going to be "trial and error" for a while.
As for HOW to load the JAVA apps and games on your CECT i9, here's how:
On your computer, with the i9 plugged in with the USB cable, drag the JAR or JAD files into the "RECEIVED" folder. After you're finished with everything you want to add, disconnect the i9. Touch your DOCUMENTS button, then "memory card," then "received," you will see your JAR/JAD files listed. Touch the file you want to install. The next screen, choose INSTALL. It will bring you back to the menu choices of "phone" or "memory card." Choose PHONE and select YES. It should give you a message when it has successfully installed. Then exit out to the main screen, touch the JAVA button. Select "Installed Java Software" and you should be able to use your newly installed JAVA apps and games.
i) u download either videos, mp3 music and games from internet and save it to ur computer, then u copy them on to memory card of your phone....
on your memory card u will have specific folders like My Videos, images or Photos, My Music, try store videos into My Videos or Videos folder, thereof............
ii) when try to stores videos on your phone(ur phone supports only specific video formats, like most of them support .3gp videos...........), try using good video converter to converter ur video files(which are in other format such as .vob, .dat, .wmv.....)and play them on your phone...even after this u may encouter message "invalid file", so try choosing best video converter which convert your video to .3gp(compatible to ur phone)---------------
For music i use and LOVE Blubster..go to www.blubster.com select the free download--have never had a problem and always find all the songs i want..and its FREE..download the music to your computer then plug the USB cord to the phone to the computer and it should pop up the files..save them to your music file in device F(your memory card)--device G is the phones memory and if you put them there it will tell you the file is to large..
For videos and music videos..my favorite and FREE site is http://www.mv3gp.com/ I love that site..
3gp is the format all cell phones use for video..so if you need more google free 3gp videos and more sites will pop up..But these are just the TWO i use personally and LOVE.. for the videos same as music drag the file to the F device in your video files..Voila..
Then you can find them in your phone under your documents icon and under memory card..or in your multimedia icon and audio or video player
