Samsung Internal 40x CD-ROM Drive

Atapi cdrom problems

hello as as newbie as they come

i installed freebsd 3.2 off cdrom onto a dell optiplex gxi

it loaded of the cdrom and see's the cdrom on boot but i can't mount the drive
i tried the acd0 for an atapi cdrom but still doesn't see it

the drive is a samsung sc-140b 17/40x

any suggestions

Trying putting the CD-ROM into primary slave. That
should solve the problem.
