Hi!

The speed is easy to change, your OS has a speed standard on all mices, whireless or not same speed. That speed can be changed in the controllpanel------Mice-----settings

But since you want a corder mice i can recomend you a
Logitech MX400 Performance Laser Mouse or a
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer3.0

Both are good ones, but to really get the best one for you YOU have to test them yoursellf, see if the fits your hand, feel if you like them.

Good luck
Nic

Docking station for MX1000 Laser mouse not working

That docking station has a lithium-ion battery in it that supposedly never needs replacing. I'm wondering if the battery did go out on it and needs to be replaced. If there is now way to get inside of the docking station then you will need to get another mouse, cause you can't just get the docking station.

My mouse will work for about 5 minutes. then it disconnects from the usb receiver. the only way to make it work again is to turn off both the mouse and the receiver for a while then plug the receiver back...

I have seen this many times. What type of mouse do you have? Are they any other wireless devices in the same room?? These can cause trouble for you. Next you need good batterries. Some cheap Walmart type wireless products have this problem. You may need to remove and then reinstall you usb port. This is done under the device tab.

Keyboard not working

To connect the keyboard or mouse to the computer, you must connect the wireless device through the USB port and get it to hold a good connection. You do not have to install any devices to use these products, they automatically work when you plug them in. When it says that the device is recognized, you are ready to use it! If you have a desktop, you can also plug the wireless device to the mouse port. The keyboard and mouse work properly up to 5' away from the connected wireless device. If you can get the wireless device to work properly, you should have no troubles with the product.

Toshiba Wireless Mouse

Your mouse might have had an internal receptor problem, meaing it can not read the signal from the adapter. This sometimes happens with wireless products. Contact Toshiba and they should give you a new one free of charge since it seems it was a faulty product. Rate me if this helps!

Innovera Wireless Optical Mouse and Keyboard

I would replace the whole setup with a new mouse and keyboard. A lot of manufacturers out there have faulty products and wireless input devices are not known for their reliability. I would suggest a logitech setup. This seems to be the most stable brand that I have found.
