Question about Computers & Internet
A few days ago i had the problem were my laptop was sayin bootmgr missing i have since been able to reinstall my laptop and am back on to the desktop page with everything wiped, but now it keeps freezing or ******** off, but not compltely restarting as the green lights remain on?? to get back on i have to reset the latop can you help please??
What operating system are u using and what laptop do u have ill try to help u

When you re-installed the OS, etc. The power saving features in the OS (XP?) went back to their factory values. Meaning that now after so many minutes the machine is standing by or hibernating...
Right clock on the desktop and then click on properties. Click on the Screen Saver tab and then click on the "Power..." button.
Set the power options properties to something you like...
