Re: The washer will not fill with water. All we get
Your water valve could be bad.take hoses off the valve and check the screens for any blockage.if no blockage then you most likely will need a new water valve.make sure water is on both sides.hot and cold.

OK buzzing sound, hmmm, need to know more than that, dos the water fill ??,,if not disconnect the water hoses at the machine and check the filter elements in the intake water side they might be plugged, if the unit fills with water then the starter capacitor at the motor might be defective. good luck
sounds to me like either the water faucet at the wall is shut off or their is some sort of restriction to the pipes not allowing the washer to fill some on here may say that the buzzing will be the motor but since it spins i say bully to them the motor only knows to go to spin or agitate rotation based on on what the timer/control tells it to do if it will turn one direction it would turn the other direction as well. So definently check the water supply to the washer Oh the buzzing is the solonoid on the valve opening the valve yet since no water coming in you hear the buzzing while you wouldnt hear it since it would be drowned out by the sound of the water coming in
its probably your cold water rinse only valves solenoid thats loose on the structure or the coil itself is loose, you may not hear it all the time especially during the initial wash start fill, try this, set the washer for cold water fill only on the washer, but turn off the water valves that supply water and start your machine to a wash cycle as normal, try this and see if it dry buzzes(without water),then try the same on the hot side, then with the water still off open up the machine and you can localize the buzzing noise
