Re: IP address problem
What problem? Need more info! On the Panasonic brand, you input the IP address through the "function" mode- "general" settings... go to last menu item "key operator" the code should be 3 or 4 zeros. Then go to the IP address item and enetr in the IP adress. Now you MUST TURN THE MACHINE OFF AND BACK ON TO LOCK IN THE IP ADDRESS! Go back into general setting and "print general settings" to see if it's still the same address.

First of all, make sure that there is network interface card is installed in your photocopier.
If yes, then connect the network cable to the machine.
Then from the control panel of machine, Go to "Administrator Mode" Administrator Setting.
Press--Utility---then select "Admin Setting"
Now enter Admin Password=000000, press "OK"
Now go to "Network Settings" and Assign the IP address to the machine.
After assigning the IP address, install the relevant printer driver, (compatible with your operating system) You can also download the drivers from the internet.
During the installation of drivers, select "TCP/IP Port" This port is used for network printing.Enter the IP address of Photocopier in this port number.
After finishing the installation, your machine is ready for printing.
If you are still facing difficulty at any point, feel free to ask any time.
yep! you mean the ip address of the copier? it is under general settings key operator mode here's how to do it: 1. set the machine to copy mode (ready to copy displayed on LCD) 2. press FUNCTION 3. press 1 4. press SET 5. press 9 6. press 000 (as a default key operator password) 7. press 1 and 9 ( 19 ) 8. the tcp/ip mode will display you may press clear to erase the current ip address; just press the number that corresponds to your desired ip address and asterisk (*) corresponds to dot ( . ); after you input the new ip address dont forget to press SET to save the settings press STOP TO EXIT that's it :)
I succeeded in printing via network to the Panasonic Workio DP-190. Here is a brief summary of what needed to be done...
* HP laptop w/ Windows XP SP2 installed
* requires LPR support via "Print Services for Unix" to be installed from Windows Components (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457002.aspx)
* Installed using GDI printer driver (http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/en/mfp/download/dp-190/list.html)
During the GDI installation I choose a 'Network printer' and the printer was already setup for proper IP addressing, etc...
I created a new printer port of type LPR, doing so required me to input the printer's IP address and a queue name -- the queue name was left blank.
Hope this helps,
