Question about Microsoft MS Windows XP Professional SP2
The message says"the audio or file you are tying to play is not supported by this application.Continuing play may result in lack of audio output " "O K"..... pressing O K results in picture onlly.......no sound. my computer is a dell laptop inspiron 6000 with sonic cyberlink power dvd installed.
I HAVE WMP IT DOES nOt SUPPORTED DVD
The problem is with the codec that is require to play sound.You can resolve this by playing your DVD in another player like VLC media player or you will have to install the latest codec pack which supports major Audio and Video formats.
Following are the links to download both the VLC media player and K-Lite mega codec pack-
Download any one of them and install on your system.I am pretty sure this will resolve your problem.
