Question about NEC MT81 Remote Control

Open Question

Every time I put my Toshiba SE-R0049 DVD player on standby and then switch it on again later on, the DVD I was watching goes right back to the beginning, instead of playing from where I left it. How can I change this?

I am trying to hook up my vcr and my DVD to the 60pp9202 60 in my DVD is working but my VCR is not. I am getting a black and white picture on one channel and sound on the other.

put the dvd plug scart into the spare scart socket on the vhs player, then u can only use one player at a time,ie if watching dvd put vhs player into standby or vice versa, the other scart socket on the vhs player goes to the tv. when not using either be sure to put both on standby.

Panasonic dmres30v unable to open dvd drawer led displaying u99 and cant remove

Press the power button on the main unit to switch the unit to standby. When the unit is in standby , press the power button again on the main unit to turn it on. If the unit doesn’t switch to standby, press and hold the power button on the main unit for about 10 seconds to forcibly switch it to standby.

To open the drawer, press and hold STOP and CH UP buttons on the main unit at the same time for about 5 seconds.

Dvd player trys to read disc but stops with a HO7 message, worked fine last night, but we did put a dvd in to watch but something came on the tv we wanted to watch and didn't turn off dvd

HELLO

This is a motor problem. Here is what to do to put it right.

Open the disc tray and switch off the power, then remove the lid off the player. Locate the disc motor and where the spindle goes through the motor put a little WD40 or light oil (but not too much) or it will get messy.

Turn the disc motor a few times yourself and let the lubricant soak in. Leave it for about 30 minutes then try it again - and it should work.

This works in a number of cases, though I can't guarantee it will work for you. TRY IT! (:-)

My Toshiba SE-R0161 Remote no longer works.

There is most likely nothing wrong with your remote. I just had exactly the same issue with my SE-R0161 remote. (I had just changed my remote batteries too and was getting a DR-2 code on the Toshiba DVR RD-XS52 unit's display.) My DVR and my remote had to be realigned so that they both have the same infared (IR) code. The remote and the DVR can have DR 1, DR 2 or DR 3 as remote codes. Pg 54 of the Toshiba Installation Manual explains how to align both your SE-R0161 and your based unit so that the remote works again. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Blocky images on a Toshiba DVd player

Well, this was no brainer. After simply unplugging the device for about 24 hours, everything went back to normal. Seem that the player is still having this problem from time to time, probably Bios related. I have also advise Toshiba support of the problem and the workaround. Hopefully, they will come with a permanent solution to that problem.

Have a nice day

Stuck on Standby

Do a hard reset. Unplug it from the socket, the DVD and leave disconnected for 4 hours. This may or may not help, but it is a necessary step to restore all internal software codes to their factory settings.

Hope this may help;

I find when my unit gives that same message, if I unplug it for a few hours, the memory resets itself. You may have tried this already, but it does work with my machine. tcast at yahoo.com
