Great info by fossidude. Either you can use GPRS or in addition, you can use you PC broadband connection through USB, or you can buy a wifi card for this phone to connect to wifi network, though they are not easily available. But GPRS will be the best option.

Thanks for using fixya!!!

Your device is equipped with powerful networking functions that enable you
to connect to the Internet through a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)
network. GPRS is a service that allows information to be sent and received
across a mobile telephone network.

Your device is able to configure itself for data services for many of the major
GSM/GPRS operators across the world. Simply insert your SIM card and switch
on your device. When the device powers on it will prompt for the configuration
steps and configure itself for Web, MMS, and WAP services. If the settings are
not known for your operator, the device will notify you and you will need to enter
these manually. You should contact your Network Service Provider.

Here's manual setup that might help you.

Manual setup of your data connections

You can set up connections to the Internet or to a corporate network to browse

the Internet, and exchange e-mail or instant messages.

Your device has two groups of connection settings: My ISP (Internet Service

Provider) and My Work Network. The My ISP settings are used to connect to theInternet, while My Work Network settings can be used to connect to any private corporate network.

To connect to the Internet via ISP.

Obtain the following information from your ISP:

Access point name or server phone number

    User name (if required)

    Password (if required)

Domain (if provided by an ISP or a network administrator)

    Proxy settings (if required)

Tap START > Settings > Connections tab > Connections.

Tap Add a new modem connection.

Enter a name for the connection.

Select a modem from the list. For example, if you want to use the mobile phone network, select Cellular Line (GPRS).

Tap Next Complete the connection wizard by entering the required information and tap Finish. You should then be able to browse the Internet using Internet explorer (Start>Internet Explorer). Connecting to GPRS should happen automatically as required. Some networks will disconnect you from the GPRS connection after a certain period of data inactivity. To disconnect manually, click on the Wireless manager tab on the today screen and select Menu>Disconnect Cellular Data.

Ok, hope this will help you a lot, if you need anything help again about your I-Mate, let me know.

Don't forget to rate my solution positively. Thanks!

Tell me about the cu920lg phone net i dont know

In order for you to surf the internet using your mobile phone, first, you will need internet settings save on your phone. These files are usually sent to your phone once your service provider detect your phone is not yet setup to be used as internet browser.

If you are in Afghanistan. The service provider is the one who made your simcard. (make sure this simcard is 3G) Once you insert the simcard, your network provider will send Phone Settings on your phone. Just save this files. If it don't, then, you will need to call them and ask for the phone settings for your mobile phone.

Hope this helps!

Internet settings

Dear Imraan,

Kindly note that every service provider keeps these setting to make subscribers readily use the services once required.

Kindly contact your service provider 'Vodafone" (in your case) and ask the customer service executive to send the operator settings/3G or other settings related to internet service on your phone.

You will receive an SMS from them. This message contains all the operator setting for this service to work. Once received, save that message and restart your phone.

You will find the setting working.

Thanks and Best Regards,
