It sounds like the harddrive is making a constant noise. it stops when there is I leave dont use it for a few minuets.

You can check the hard drive using Norton Utilities software. There is a trial version (free). Most of the modern laptop hard drives do not make a loud noise (it make a noise when it writes something). If your laptop uses an indexing software, then yes, the hard drive will make a noise all the time.

Ibm t23 crackling static noise on both the speakers and the head phones i wish to repair myself. almost like interference the sound is constant not just when audio is played.

It sounds like a cracked speaker or no good anymore. You can buy a new set of speakers for it not that hard to change out. Also check the volume level and see if still does the carckling noise when turned down. Thanks for using FixYa! Here is a video on how to do this if this one is not a good one there are many of them at this site Click Here.

I have no sounds on my laptop and the same time I have a constant noise coming from the speakers.

you might have to uninstall then reinstall the sound drivers
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it
control panel sounds and audio, volume you can adjust the volume or advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel, administrive tools, computer management, device manager scroll to sound, video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers
hope this helps

I have speakers built into my monitor but since changing from vista to xp they dont seem to work anymore im so confused and dont know what the hell to do because before thet they were working brilliantly

well the reason for it not working is becausethe windows lost the speaker's driver so what you need to do is to re-install the driver of the speaker.

Wierd problem with my subwoofers please help

It sounds like your RCAs are pickin up noise somewhere, are your rca cables next to your amp power wire? this could be the problem. Just recheck your signal wires and make sure they aren't close to any significant power cables. Also does the noise only come from your subs or your car speakers to? If it comes from all your speakers you may have a headunit problem... hope this helps

X205-SLi1 Speaker Problem: The left speaker is stuck in a constant thumping/tapping noise machine-gun noise pattern. You can actually see the left speaker go up and down repeatedly as it makes its tapping...

sounds a lot like you have a speaker that's crying for removal and replacement..you could try to use the volume slider, with the left/right balance, and see if it's generic to the system, or just one particular application. sounds like it's happening all the time your computer is on
