SOURCE: My AEG 630 watt drill SBE630RX. The keyless chuck

The cover on the chuck must be removed by using a punch, tapping around the drill side. this will pop off the cover exposing the jaw's. then use a channel lock and or bench vice on wheel that surround's jaw's. if the chuck is no good it may have a left hand screw in the bore that must be removed to take chuck off.

I have a Bosch 14.4 driver and with full charge I han hold the chuck an prevent from spinning when on drill speed. Can I fix this?

Battery powered drills generally are much weaker thah house current drills. With that in mind, realize that they aredrills and not intended to be power screwdrivers! The less the supply voltage, the less the torque (turning power). They are suppurb at doing small jobs where torque is not an issue, like using drill bits through wood, etc!

My problem is my 18volt cordless drill driver cant work in Jamaica where ive been trying to use it cause its 50hertz and not 60 here Rigid customer support said i could try and locate 50cycle charger...

I dont know that the small difference in hertz would make a huge difference. What is the voltage 120 or 240? that would be my concern. And the company AEG is actually a german company that manufactures tools. They also make tools for many other tool companies e.g. Milwaukee Tool. I just searched and by entering the words aeg.com I came up with their website, you can browse the site or send them an email for advice. Let me know if you need more assistance and if I have helped you would you please vote accordingly.

To get the manual for your Impact driver, I will need the full model number which will look like a

I hope this helps

I HAVE AN 12V AEG CORDLESS DRILL WITH LI LION TECHNOLOGY. UNFORTUNATELY ONE OF THE TWO BATTERIES SUPPLIED HAS BECOME UNCHARGEABLE (U/S). IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO,

Here is a link for distributors that will sell the battery
http://www.aeg-powertools.eu/distributers/eu

Without a model number of the drill I can only speculate what battery you need, and it appears that this drill is not sold in America, but I could certainly be wrong. I am only going off what what AEG will allow me to research on their website, and America will not come up as a distributor location for the 12v L-Ion batteries. I am also assuming your battery looks like the picture. I hope this helps.

My AEG BL9618 battery charger has started to chirp(beep) is this a fault signal as the user manual is pretty thin on troubleshooting

Does the battery still charge?? The reason I ask is that some tool mfr's are starting to play with the chargers. Insert the battery and remove within 5 seconds and reinsert and then does the noise go aaway or change? Makita has started doing this and also some others. If the battery charges I wouldn't worry too much but try the above method and see.

Shaft has no power.

In the old days I would have said "Check the shear pin." But I just looked at the breakdown for this tool and it looks like they have put a clutch in this tool. The gear box will have to be disassembled and the clutch will have to be inspected and if the parts are still good, the clutch will then need to be torqued to the proper foot pounds. I hate to say this but, this is probably a job for a repair shop.
