Upon installing a presuably fixed version of Avanquest System Suite 9, I encountered the same problem I faced half a year ago when I ordered an insalation CD from Avanquest. I was immediately hit with the error message, "Sunbelt update installer task default pattern files were not installed. The program disappeared and I could not get it to work. An email to customer service got me the advice to remove the program and then click on a link to the a corrected version. This was all despite that I had just purchased was they knew was a defective program on the disk they sent me. I cliked the link repeatedly and nothing happened. OBVIOUSLY, THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO INTENTION OF FIXING THEIR PROBLEMS. WHERE DO i RETURN THE PROGRAM AND ITS BOX AND MANUAL TO GET A REFUND OF MY MONEY.

    The box offers a refund within 90 days of purchase, so they are alrady committed to that. The phone number is what I needed. Thanks

There is always a catch with such sites offering PC security packages.

However, as the money is alredy deducted from your debit or credit card, its only on their discretion you would be able to get a refund. You can claim either the charge or if you have already paid the amount to the credit/debit/charge card, kindly file a complaint against them.

These companied used to use their own software products, so its not possible for any one of us to offer you the package that was offered to you.

Rather than sending them an email, i would advise you to call them and clarify the situation.

I had a similar problem with a different program a while back. I came across Revo Uninstaller and found it very useful to fix my problem. Try for the free version, see if it helps.

open Task Manager by

keys together

>go to file >New Task>type explorer and click on OK

you desktop should be open now

Pattern files did not load and can't acces the program at all


Try to check if you have install all its components in order to support the program in its operation. Also try to check also the license if it is license and register it or have it activated using the internet connection in order to be able to used the program. Also try to check if the program you installed is supported by your system or does it supports your Operating system.

I've d System Suite 9 for some time. Recently,

The first thing I would try personally is to go to the Control Panel--> Add/Remove Programs--> Uninstall it.....Open My Computer--> C:/ (Hard Drive)--> Program Files and look to see if there are still any remaining files related to System Suite 9 if so right click and delete.

After you have done this close all the windows and clean your registry if you already have a registry repair tool use it now or download one free of charge HERE.

Now you will be able to reinstall System Suite 9, any conflicts it was having should be gone. If the problem persists then the problem is with another program and not system suite 9 itself.

Space Issues with Avanquest System Suite 9

I'm guessing that before you installed this software you had a lot of space on your hardrive. Have you opted to perform a \recovery backup' or 'system restore', or something like that during the install? If so this may explain why it is taking up all this room. 
What this would do is make a copy of everything on you computer into a backup file, effectively greatly reducing your available space.

Avanquest system suite 9

Bring up Internet Explorer, click on tools, click manage add ons, click enable/ disable add ons, look at enabled add ons, disable Data Vault. Restart your computer. This will fix your script errors with System Suite 9 on Internet Explorer.
