That's what you get when you buy a low-end store brand fan. Also, you should never buy a hugger fan unless your ceiling is under 8 ft. Most hugger fans are worthless. They have a cheap motor and no blade pitch.

mcdevito75 here, A large hardware store like Home Depot, Doody's should have a standard kit of screws for the fan blades of most newer ceiling fans.

Lowes should carry them.

Hi ,,, replacement switches for ceiling fan lights can be found at most appliance or building supply stores. Try Home Depot, Ace, Lowes. Make sure that you get the correct switch. With a single lamp you only need an on/off switch.

If the fan blade mounts are removable, go to your local hardware store with one of the mounts, and find some screws that will fit. You might not be able to get the same color, but if you check a few stores you should find something with the right shape of head to fit snugly.
