Blue screen of death its known as. You will have to reinstall the operating system and reinstall all the drivers for the pc e.g graphics card, mouse, keyboard, modem etc. to do this you have to get a copy of the operating system disck and change the computer to boot from the disk drive in the bios, instead of booting from hard drive. tutorials on this are on youtube to help.

Since installing my Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard my computer shuts down and a blue screen error is being reported. I sthis a common problem?

Try turning on your computer and booting it in safe mode(heres a tutorial on how to boot into safemode: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm). Then when in safe mode go to control panel > add/remove programs(uninstall programs) and select the logitech drivers that you have installed on your computer. Reboot your computer, if your computer goes back to normal try reinstalling the drivers, if this messes up your computer again, contact Logitech tech support.

Child was banging keys and all keyboard lights went out. Re-booted lights come on but go right out. Can't get windows screen on monitor now either. Tried sleep button on keyboard no response

Unplug the keyboard and switch on the computer. If the computer boots up OK then there may be a stuck button on the keyboard. press each button to see if any feel different to normal. You may be able to repair it by taking it apart, otherwise replace the keyboard.

Selecting booting device

Normally with the new laptops you have to press F2 to access your bios settings, you will definitely be able to select the boot device from there.

If F2 does not work startup your laptop and watch the screen, there must be an option that will tell you which key to press to enter bios.

If the screen comes and goes to fast for you, press the pause button on your keyboard so you can read it at your own time and do your actual selection.

Hope it helps.

Keyboard works but Mouse does not respond

Restore your computer through a Restore Point. Choose "Start"in the lower left hand of the screen and look for system tools after that just follow the step shown.

How do you disable the HP info center pop up

I had a user with the same problem using a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. This is a similar setup to most Logitech wireless desktop kits, there is one wireless receiver for both devices and it has a USB connector as well as a normally unused PS/2 (it comes with an adapter for the USB so you can use this on an old computer without USB). The user went on a trip and another "helpful" user that was in his office noticed the wireless receiver's PS/2 cable unplugged and decided to plug it in for him. I'm actually amazed that it worked as well as it did but Windows didn't recognize the keyboard correctly (103 key keyboard?). All I did to solve this problem was to unplug the PS/2 conector and load the correct software for the keyboard. I also put tape and a note on the unneeded connector to prevent this from happening again.

Logitech keyboard won't work

You may need to reinstall the drivers for the keyboard, they should have came on a CD with the keyboard, you may also be able to download the correct driver from Logitech's website. Try searching for 'logitech keyboard drivers' in Google or visit Logitech's own website.

Please rate if at all useful, thanks!
