Hmmm just found solution to the cine dash volume control problem.
You need to shut your laptop down.
Remove the battery for 10 secs.
Replace battery.
Boot up and all should be okay.
I have tried this on mine and it worked fine. If this does not work straight away someone else said something about LaunchManager but I didn't have to do that so can't give any info on that.

I get it. The multimedia keys above the keyboard is not working. If I'm right, check if you have installed the HP Quick Launch buttons software. If not check in C:/SwSetup and you'll find a folder. Install the application and check if the buttons are working. If not, post back

Try taking the battery out for 10 seconds, put it back in and boot as normal.
Worked for me on my Aspire 6920G! I think it must be a power-ratio problem.

HP Pavilion DV6-1359WM, has a volume control touch pad area located at the top. It's not a driver issue or a setting. This is how you fix it. It worked for me and for some other people....
1. Shut down your laptop.
2. Unplug the power.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Push and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
5. Reinstall the battery.
6. Plug power back in.
7. Boot

Hi there. I see you are having a problem with a media software program on your pc. The best thing you can do to solve the problem is to uninstall and then reinstall the program. This will put it back into its default settings and will also correct any corruption that the current installation may have. I hope this helps you.
