I have an acer8930g with cinedash media console. however when using the next track button with spotify it often skips 2 or 3 tracks instead of just skipping the current track.

When i disabled launch manager to see if this would fix it the volume on the cinedash console stopped working but the next track button would work correctly

It sounds as if you should re-install the program. Or you may just have a sticky keyboard. or the key repeat time is very fast. Try looking in the control panel for your operating system and adjust it from there.

Hmmm just found solution to the cine dash volume control problem.
You need to shut your laptop down. Remove the battery for 10 secs. Replace battery. Boot up and all should be okay.
I have tried this on mine and it worked fine. If this does not work straight away someone else said something about LaunchManager but I didn't have to do that so can't give any info on that.

I get it. The multimedia keys above the keyboard is not working. If I'm right, check if you have installed the HP Quick Launch buttons software. If not check in C:/SwSetup and you'll find a folder. Install the application and check if the buttons are working. If not, post back

Try taking the battery out for 10 seconds, put it back in and boot as normal.

Worked for me on my Aspire 6920G! I think it must be a power-ratio problem.

SOURCE: my quick play buttons do

HP Pavilion DV6-1359WM, has a volume control touch pad area located at the top. It's not a driver issue or a setting. This is how you fix it. It worked for me and for some other people....

1. Shut down your laptop.
2. Unplug the power.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Push and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
5. Reinstall the battery.
6. Plug power back in.
7. Boot

Enjoy :) brought to you by high DanK Inc.

Hi there. I see you are having a problem with a media software program on your pc. The best thing you can do to solve the problem is to uninstall and then reinstall the program. This will put it back into its default settings and will also correct any corruption that the current installation may have. I hope this helps you.

I want to know how to track c.d. when recording,I don't have a remote??

If you mean you don't know how to manually mark a track in Manual Mode >>while<< recording on the fly:

Toggle the Auto/Manual button to Manual

Press the SKIP/Search right arrow button for tray B while recording whenever you want to increment the track number.

Pausing or stopping the recording also increments the next track number. There is no way to manipulate the actual number assigned to any track. It is alway PLUS 1 from the last track.

I always use Manual track numbering on my Pioneer machine when recording analog sources because many machines (like yours) will interpret a short silence as a track break. This may not necessarily be what you want to happen.

I've just purchased a Laser MF001 - MP3 player and have downloaded my songs. Now it won't work, how do I turn in on?

- Make sure you have installed AAA battery: MP3 player won't work otherwise (it does not need a battery to work as USB memory stick to transfer/delete songs or data) - To turn-on (or off for that matter), press first button on your LHS (eg. same side as earphone plug) for 2 or 3 seconds until (blue) LED is on: if you press button too long after the LED is on, it will switch the player off! - When the LED is on, stop pressing this button: it is ready to play the MP3 track by pressing on this same button until the LED starts flashing (LED will keep on flashing while track is playing). - If you want to skip this track and get to the next track, quickly press and release the next (e.g. middle) button. - The third button (e.g. nearest to the USB plug), quickly press and release, is used to rewind or go back to previous track. - Volume control is also performed by pressing and holding down the second or third buttons Have fun!

Nano Audio Playback Repeatedly Skips Same Section of Song Track

I get this a lot with MP3s and it is because of the chips that Apple used in these iPods. It's only in the very latest ones they have solved this by using a different manufacturer. The best way I found to solve this was convert all the MP3s to AAC.

To do this, in iTunes
  1. go to the preferences and in the General section where it says 'When I insert a CD' or similar there is an ImportSettings button. Click this and in here there is a selector for 'ImportUsing' and change it to AAC - The native codec for the iPod. Save all this
  2. then in the main music library select the song you want to repair and right-click (ctrl-click on a mac) then choose 'Create AAC Version'. This will convert it.
  3. Now right click it and choose 'Show in Explorer' (Finder on a Mac) and delete the MP3 version.
  4. Back in iTunes if it made duplicate listings for the song try to play it. If it plays that's the AAC version if it doesn't thats the old MP3 version and needs deleting.
  5. Transfer the AAC version into any Playlists you had associated with it for the iPod.
  6. Done.
Kind of a pain if you've got loads of them to do but it does work. I tried repairing the mp3s in other software but the ipod still had issues with them so AAC is the way to go. (You can also convert them back to MP3 from the AACs which also fixes it but if you haven't transfered the AACs to the iPod it wont recognise the change of file for the MP3s)

Hope this helps you out.

All the best

Could be either the Track skip switch has collapsed and is thus over sensative or the button bank is broken and the track skip switch is being pressed when the cue button is used.
Could also have liquid spillage on the circuit board which cause all sorts of random problems

Try reloading this way and it should work .,... if still a problem restore it and reload
