It sounds like you have low/no compression. To be sure use a compression gauge by screwing it into the spark plug hole, holding the throttle wide open and pulling 6-5 times. If it is reading less that 90 lbs on the gauge then you have a problem. Technically the saw should have 120-150 lbs, but it will run at 90 lbs. In the event that you have a low reading you will need to replace the jug, piston, and rings.

Oil pump been replaced, knock senser and oil sending unit. oil light comes on and load ticking ,when its cold started on my 98 nissan altima

Go back to where you got the work done if you can.If not then i would get the oil preasure checked as the low light tells me the preasure is below 8 psi and the ticking is from the lash adjustors at the tappets verifys low preasure too.

Went to start bp251 blower after sitting in shed for a week, pull string was very hard to pull. took off plug a lot of fuel came out of plug hole . also checked muffler screen, was clean. there was quite a...

Take plug out turn blower to where plug hole is down pull starter cord many times until all fuel is out. Clean plug, install, try starting without priming or choking. If no start try priming just until you get fuel to engine. Try starting again. If this works when storing blower leave fuel cap slightly loose in very hot weather until you want to start.

Echo trimmer srm-230 pull string to start trimmer is stuck. I try pulling on it and it only comes out about an inch.

The pull string is probably tangled up. There are usually vents which enable you to see into the machines pull string assembly. Loosen the fasteners and pull off the cover exposing the pull string. You can unwind and untangle and then it should recoil perfectly. If that does not work continue to dismantle the pull string assembly because you probably have a broken starter pawl which is located on the back of the pull string assembly.

Pull start Problem!

Try spraying WD 40 into the pull string housing and on the string as well, the clutches may have gotten a bit seized up from the elements of dampness etc.
If it seems like it is not pulling at all...you may have a seized engine that happens over time or happens due to the wrong gas/oil mixture...shoukd be 40:1 as a rule.

Pull string came off as I was trying to start it.

there should be three or four screws to the top of the mower where the string goes, after purchasing new pull string make sure you wind the spring when you re string, so that when you put the cover back on it will be spring loaded and in proper working condition

When pulling the rope to start it doesn't grab for about 5-6 pull

Unscrew the 3 or 4 screws on the outside of the plate that is part of the pull string housing, there are 2 centrifugal pegs that are sticking due to trimmings getting in that area. Inspect, and clean the pegs that fly out when you pull the string. Do not oil (that will only attract more junk later), make sure they are free, and come out when you pull the string. And your problem will be solved.
