This is very likely a hardware failure, probably involving alignment.
If you're still under warranty, get an return authorization from Ricoh
and send it in for repair.

Don't know exactly what your error is but if your new to burning cd's
and if your using windows 9x, go to this site and download and install a
program called cacheman. it tweaks window's cache settings to stop or reduce
buffer underrunns, the leading cause of coasters on ide units.
