Download the most up to date drivers for your printer. You can find these drivers at the manufacturer's website (i.e. www.hp.com for HP printers) by typing in your model number. Once you have these updated drivers, uninstall the printer and reinstall with the new drivers.

Go to the Control Panel (Start button, then select Control Panel)
Select Printers icon
Right-Click on your printer and select Delete

How you re-install your printer depends on the type of file you downloaded. Some manufacturers provide an installation package that handles the installation for you. If this is the case, simply double-click on the file you downloaded and follow the prompts. If not, select "Add Printer" in the printers window and follow the prompts. When it asks for drivers, select "Have Disk" and point to the folder where you downloaded the drivers to.

Hope this helps.

Dell Cost to 230 just shut off. Won't power up. When I hold power button in fan spools up. When I release power button fan stops. So it's getting power. It just shut down and won't restart.

You need to remove the power cord and the battery. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Install the battery and attach the power cord. Try powering on the laptop. If this does not work unplug the power cord and remove the battery. Attach the power cord and leave the battery out of the laptop. Try powering on the laptop. If it now works you have a bad battery. If this makes no difference there is a major hardware issue with your laptop. If it is under warranty I would call Dell. If it is an old laptop you might want to remove the hard drive. You can then copy the data to a replacement computer.

Can I charge my Craig Power Bank model CMA3121a from a wall outlet, rather than the computer?

You need a mains USB charger, it is a standard 5volts device with a minimum of 500ma. They are easily available. Plug the USB cord into the charger instead of the PC.

Device cannot be recognized error code 43 Problem....what does it mean?

Try this, on a laptop, unplug the power cord, then take out the battery, unplug all usb devices, leave it alone for a minute or two and then replug the power cord and then the battery. Turn the computer on and restart as normal. replug in your usb devices and they will reinstall as usual.

The USB ports on my Toshiba A135 S2356 laptop are not working. I tried to use my printer and it says not connected. I bought a new cord but it still doesn't work. What should I do?

1. first check ur USB port using any other USB device, like pen drive, mouse, keyboard, etc.
if system detects that device, then ur USB port is OK!

2. if USB is OK, then the problem is with the 'Printer Driver' not the cord!

3. reinstall the printer driver!

4. update the driver!

5. if USB port is not working, then replace it!

if this helps, tell me.......

Toshiba laptop won't start up

Try this:
  • remove battery
  • replace battery
  • restart
Then:
  • with charging cord plugged into computer and wall restart
If it starts on the battery the computer has reset itself-- you're good to go...

If it starts on the wall charger but not the standalone battery... the battery is the problem.

If neither works replace the charger cord.

Good Luck

Cannot connect a hp psc 2410 printer to dell inspiron 1000 laptop

Try a powered USB hub, this will boost the power in the USB curcuit.
Also ensure that in Device Manager, USB Root HUB, Power Management tab, that the option to let windows turn off the device is unchecked.

Computer shut down

The sparking has probably caused your circuit protection inside the AC adapter to turn off the current.
Also, when you are plugging an adapter in,,do not have it plugged into the wall power outlet when plugging into the laptop,,,plug into the laptop first and then plug into the wall.
