Question about Toshiba 37HL67 37 in. LCD HDTV
My Toshiba Regza HDTV (model 37HL67S) has worked fine for over a year.
Now, after I tune to WFMZ-HD (channel 69-1 in Allentown, PA), the video goes black with no sound for -all- channels.
The AV inputs still work (video/sound from VCR and DVD) and the on-screen displays still work (channel numbers, menus), so it is -not- the backlight or anything like that.
Turning the set off briefly then back on does -not- fix the problem.
Tuning to a ''good'' channel, then turning the set off for about 30 seconds to a minute, then back on -does- return the set to normal operation.
Tuning to 69-1 recreates the problem every time.
This did -not- start happening with 69-1 until mid February (17?).
Firmware is HL07S 220.127.116.11 dated Aug. 23 2007 14:31:23 FW 32.
My Samsung HDTV set (tied to the same whole-house antenna) tunes 69-1 just fine. I am only receiving broadcast signals--no cable or FIOS boxes in the way.

Just go to the main settings. You will see an "autoprogram" option. Select this and it will scan all available channels and delete non-airing channels
