Hi,

As you probably already know, water damage is not covered under your warranty. My little trick works 95% of the time. Take the phone apart and dry it out with a hair dryer.

If it still doesn't work, you might get the warranty honored if there is no apparent water damage.

All the best

I have water damage, what can I do?

My brother crossed a deep creek(up to his chin) then realized he had his cell in his pants pocket. He dried as best he could then put it in a sealed container of uncooked rice for a few days...it works fine today!!!

Dropped in water-how do I take it apart to dry?

easy way to fix that problem...dont buy him a new one...maybe if he pays for it himself he will have a little more respect for it...besides that, the best you can do for the phone is let it dry naturally for about 10 days before trying to reinstall the battery. once an lcd display has been water damaged it is more economical to replace the phone than to replace the display.

8gb nano ipod not working

remove screws, pull apart, let air dry or try drying with hair dryer. don't recommend pulling screen apart. There is several layers of the screen. It is hard to remember what order the screen layers go. But still take apart for better drying.

Nokia 6120 water damage

You can try taking out the battery and putting the phone in a bag of Rice, the Rice is a drying agent, it will take 2-3 days, if the phone works you are good, if not you will need to replace it. The rule here of course is water and electronics do not make a happy pair.

L7 water damage

I dropped my phone in the toilet when it fell out of my back pocket. The best thing to do is dry it as well as possible and then leave it out to dry. I let my phone dry for approximately 2-4 weeks and now it's working again. I found this out after I went out and bought another phone. LRL from Texas.
