Can't get date to print on photos from S1000fp camera

I saw that someone answered that a different model didn't have the date option does anyone about this model. I'd really like to have the date print on my pictures. Note; it is set correctly on the camera.

Sony DSC T90 - add date stamp to photo

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

How do you get date and time to download with photo

You didn't specify the make and model of your camera, but almost every digital camera records the date and time (and a lot of other stuff) with the image in what's called the EXIF data. This data is part of the JPG file and gets downloaded with the photo. Just about any photo cataloging/editing program should be able to show you this data. If you want this printed, you'll have to refer to the documentation for the program you're using. Depending on the program and the printer, you may print the date and time on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

If you need further help, please feel free to reply to this post. Please specify the make and model of your camera, and the program you're using to print if you want more information about that.

I need to know how to have the date stamp print on the pics I take. Very important that I have every pic date stamped. How dod I do it. Also, I have the M580 digital camera but I didn't see a choice...

Unfortunately your camera does not have the feature to have the date stamp visible on the pictures. It does, however, save the date and time information on every photo in EXIF data. Every photo taken with this camera (and most all digital cameras) contain hidden EXIF data containing the exact date and time the photo was taken as well as other information such as aperture, shutter speed, flash mode, etc. To view this data you can look at the properties of the photo using a photo program or even windows.

I have a Fujifilm finepix xp10 and the date will not print on the photos. I the date and time is set on the camera.

Most digital cameras do NOT print with the date.
However, you can ask someone at your printing location if they can help you with this problem.
Sorry I could'nt give a direct answer!

Nikon D70 data imprint

Sorry for the long answer, but this is complicated.

Some photo editors will allow you to set them up to display the date on the photo.

HOWEVER on all digital cameras:

The date taken is part of the image data that is stored in the file, but not as part of the image. If you print directly from the D70, you can set the date and data to print in one of the menus, but this only applies if you print from the camera. There is no way to actually put the date on the image like there used to be in some film cameras. Since the "picture" is now just a set of computer data bits stored on a card, disk, or other medium, the actual picture is defined by the jpeg standard, which is part of the ANSI/ISO/IEC organization. A camera manufacturer could add an extra bit of hardware to generate some kind of laser mark on the digital sensor in the camera, but I'm not aware of any camera that has this. For sure, the D70 does not.

In the various softwares that you can buy to read the file, the information in the file (like the date) can be interpreted and printed any way the software is programmed, including putting it somewhere on the printed output.

Cant get date to print on phots

The photos taken by EOS cameras don't have the date & time overlay. To print your photos with date/time stamp, use Zoombrowser EX software that came with your camera. When you select photos for print, you'll get the option of printing the date/time (and even the choice of font's colour) on the photos.

Date is not displayed on LCD or on printed photo

Date can only be printed on photo when it will be printed through Picbridge option on digital printer.

When camera hooked with PC via usb, there are options of mass storage and Picbridge and can be selected by pressing menu button.

In Picbridge printing procedure camera hooked directly with digital printer and printer asks for date printing settings.

Photos with dates

The date information is not part of the picture itself but accompanies it as separate data. The computer "system" preparing the picture for printing takes the date information and optionally (I assume) places it on the print. To do the same thing at home you require photo editing software that provides the same facility. There may of course be cameras that offer an embedded date option - perhaps others have come across one.
