Sony DVD Creative CD_RW
Both my CD and DVD stopped working. The computer does not recognize they are there by assigning a drive letter.
I have a code 19 error.
I used Article 314060,320553,and 310426 to solve the problem.
I requested premission for full control at regedit32.exe,and tried to edit \ delete:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
the system would not allow me to delete. I tried several times.
I am current on my XP updates! Was working but just stopped and I had not just installed XP. I have been having problems with the computer cutting off all the time with C4 and A errors!
How do I solve this problem!!!!!!!!!???????

I have a HP Pavillion that is giving me a Code 19 and referring to a incorrect entry in the registry. What needs to be modified for this problem to be fixed?
Thanks

See the second "problem" (read the caveats)
Run the provided registry patch
That should fix your problem (basically, a filter driver is missing or
non-operational, the registry patch will delete the filter drivers
references for your cdrom(s))
Basically, the reg file from above carries out the steps displayed at this
