Accidentally deleted a program and now internet won't work

About a month ago I was trying to clean up my computer of old programs I didn't need or use and I accidentally deleted something that was needed for my internet access. Unfortunately I don't know what it is that I deleted so I cant go to find the program and reinstall it. When I bring up the network connections on my control panel it shows a connection but has no information about it, also no wireless connections can be found or even searched for. I reset the system but no change. Can you help me?

If you are unable to restore the previous settings of the computer? I might advised you to search for the driver of your wireless adapter and you'll needing to reinstall it to your computer.

Note: Make sure that the adapter is still installed to the computer.

You should always remove and uninstall programs from your PC that you are not using.
It could be beneficial to your computer's productivity and functioning to free up space.
You run the risk of running out of space on your computer if you add too many programs without uninstalling some.
It is a relatively easy process, but you should be sure you are not removing a program that is necessary to the operation of your computer.
Click "Start" and select "Programs."
Click "Control Panel" and "Programs" and "Programs and Features."
Browse the list of programs on your computer and select one that you want to remove.
Click "Uninstall." You may be prompted for permission from the administrator to remove the program. Enter the administrator password or confirmation if necessary.
Check the properties of the program if it is not listed in "Programs."
You can do this by right-clicking on the program desktop icon and selecting "Properties." Check to see if the program is compatible with the version of Windows that you are using.
Click "Start" and "Run," to manually remove the programs if the uninstall option does not completely uninstall the program.
Type "Regedt32" in the box and click "OK."
Locate the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" registry key and click "Export" under the "File" tab.
Click "Desktop" on the "Export Registry File" dialog box.
Type "Uninstall" in the "File Name" box and select "Save."
The left panel of the Registry Editor will display the programs that are currently installed.
Right-click the key in the left panel of the Registry Editor window.
Click "Delete."
Click "Yes" when you are asked to confirm deletion of the program.
Click the "File" menu and select "Exit."
This will exit the Registry Editor.
Click "Start" and "Control Panel" and click "Add or Remove Programs."

A kind lady gave me a new Toastmaster bread machine 4 or 5 years ago, but my life was such that I thanked her, but said I didn't have time to devote to it. A year ago, I took it out and used it twice...

If you chose the "dough" program it won't get hot at all. If you chose the other programs and it never got hot then you do have a problem. Please advise which program you chose and we'll go from there.

Computer slow and over heating

on a dektop on a laptop focus on the keyboard
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making very sure there is no MOISTURE in the airline focusing on the central processing unit CPU making sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems then
you could run the check disk utility
click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which willscan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive

hope this helps

My computer too slow always get the not responding reply.

Eliminate Viruses and Spyware
Step 1

Run your antivirus program. There may be something slowing your computer that you can remove. It is a good idea to run your antivirus program every week.
Step 2

Remove spyware. Run a good spyware tool at least twice a month.
Step 3

Use a pop-up blocker, if you have one. Check your antivirus program.

Dispose of the Extras

Step 1

Delete your document files for anything you no longer need. Saved pictures, audio and video files in particular can slow your computer.

Step 2

Remove unwanted programs from the Control Panel area. Old toolbars or games the kids downloaded off the Internet are a good place to start. Look for software you no longer use, such as the old printer you threw out last year.

Step 3

Clean out your email. Old messages are a constant drain on your computer's resources. Go through every folder, deleting everything you do not need. Leave no mail! Finish by emptying the Deleted Items folder.

Step 4

Turn off unnecessary programs. Check your taskbar for icons that show running programs. Disable anything you are not currently using.

Run Maintenance

Step 1

Run the Disk Cleanup tool located in your Control Panel. (Windows only. For other operating systems, please check the Resources section below.) This will remove temporary files, cookies and unnecessary components to speed up your computer.

Step 2

Defragment your computer. Defragging takes some time, but will speed your computer significantly. You can find the tool in your Control Panel. Run it monthly.

Step 3

Check for disk errors. Sometimes corrupted files slow down your computer. To find and fix these files, Go to My Computer and right-click on C drive. Choose Properties, then Tools.

Go to your control panel and then go to programs. In your programs delete the programs that you want. Go through the control panel then programs to delete a program not task manager. Task manager only cancels the program use at that time it does not delete.

I cannot sign in yahoo

You could try uninstalling the messenger and then doing a clean download and install(meaning make sure when you download that all of your running programs are turned off, including your virus control.) Also, you might want to check your virus control under interent content or whatever yours may call it and see if you have been prohibited from using yahoo messenger there. Someone may have accidentally prohibited any chat or messenger programs. Good luck and let us know with a rating. thank you.
Please check the amount of memory you have. The messenger uses a lot.

You should probably do a major clean up of your system:

virus update and scan

start all programs>accessories>system tools>disc cleanup

toolbar>tools>internet options>delete all your cookies

check through your little icons in the lower right hand corner and tell me all that you have there. If you have a bunch of proggys waiting to start up all the time that uses memory, and most but not all do not relly serve any purpose.

Take a look at your desktop and delete any unnecessary icons for proggys you rarely use (this does not delete the program.) Right click on the icon and click delete.

If you have register cleaning program run that

Go through your files and delete junk you know longer need or want or put them onto a CD (I mean old pictures, files, etc.)

Empty your recycle bin

start all programs>accessories>system tools>defrag Good luck and let me know if this solves your problem.
