Open the trunk and remove the back panel in the trunk could be a couple of clips or a few screws holding the panel on one you remove the panel you should have easy access to the bulb just twist and remove. or on some avalons you need to pry the lens off the light to replace it then the lens will click back into place with a little push

Replace license plate blub in 2002 buick lasabre

your going to remove the entire trunk lid assembly from the vehicle. If you open the trunk and look from the inside you should either see black plastic wing nuts or 10mm nuts holding the assembly to the trunk. There will be approximately 10 of them that will need to be removed. Once they are removed the lens assembly will pop away from the trunk lid. The license bulbs can then be replaced. I usually replace all six taillight/license bulbs whenever I have one of these apart. Its the same bulb for all six lights.

Where is the fuse box loacted on a 2005 toyota corolla.... my two back license plate blubs blew and I want to replace them but cant find the fuses.

The fuse box should be located by your right leg near the bottom of the dashboard. There should be an access panel that un clips and allows you to access all the fuses for the interior and exterior lighting.

Tag light is not working. is there a fuse that will get the light turned back on?

The fuse labeled REAR PARK LP 15A in the right instrument panel fuse box powers the rear park lamps, and the tag lamps. If your rear park lamps are working then you most likely need to replace the tag lamps (bulbs). Use the following procedure to replace the lamps.

To Remove:
  1. Remove the two mounting screws from the license plate lamp.
  2. Remove the license plate lamp from the rear bumper fascia.
  3. Remove the license plate lamp socket by turning it counterclockwise.
To Install:
  1. Install the license plate lamp socket by turning it clockwise.
  2. Position the license plate lamp to the rear bumper fascia.
  3. Install the license plate lamp mounting screws.
