Question about Citizen 8700 BL8000-54L Wrist Watch
Citizen eco drive watch movement E870 date window is stuck between two dates. repair place in the mall said they cant fix it and I need to send it in for a new movement. it's out of warranty. Is there any fix? if not, how much should I expect to pay for a new movement?
If the movement is broken, you can play around yourself; but you will need very fine tools. May be complex. Send an email to Citizen, they are very supportive. Look for detail tech manuals for all types here: http://www.citizenwatch.com/downloads/tech/tech.htm

The watch will automatically set the time and date when it is in receive mode (Mode hand is on CAL, TME, RXS) Pull crown out 1 click, turn crown to put mode hand in the ORANGE zone. push crown in. Set on stable surface with the 9:00 position facing the direction of the atomic clock signal. Push and hold lower button for 2 seconds till it beeps. it will enter RECEIVE mode and in 2 -15 minutes it will (if there is signal) update time and date automatically. While in RX mode the lcd windows will flash between RC & RX, the second hand should show signal level between 1 & 3 hr positions.
Do NOT move the watch until it has resumed the one second sweep motion and made a beep.
