Question about Garmin GPS
It seems that the USB plug on my NUVI200 is loose and it will not charge. Is there a way to fix it? Can the unit be opened?
Try another usb cable first. All are not created equal and sometimes it will fit tighter. If the usb jack is actually loose then you could replace it by soldering in a new one. It's not a big job but you might have trouble finding someone to do it. Your other option is to call Garmin and see what they would charge to fix the unit. Usually its a fixed price and they will swap yours for a new one. Might be the easiest way .
