Whirlpool washer will fill and drain motor works no agitation w new dog ears

I'm not sure what you mean by "new dog ears".
Washing machines like the one pictured, generally have a transmission that is driven by the same motor that drives the pump, agitator and spin cycle. The motor has several windings for different speeds. There is a transmission that changes gears for the different motor functions. This is all controlled by the timer [big knob in your picture] and connected by a V belt.
First do a Google search for the model number and add "parts" to the search. You will get a few pictures of how the machine is built and what parts are available

I would suspect the timer first, the belt second and the transmission third. There are many on line parts suppliers once you have diagnosed the problem further.

Why does my washer wtw6200sw2 display an Ld code?

The Ld code is Long Drain. You might have a clogged hose. I had this problem once with mine. We had to empty the washer by hand and turn it on its front. Make sure you unplug it first! There is an elbow that I think was attached to the pump. We popped it off and it was clogged with dog fur (from washing dog bedding). Cleaned it out and put it back on and that took care of it. I found the diagram of the system online and suggest you look for it too - my memory isn't what it used to be - it'll tell you what to look for and where everything is. It could be the pump, too, but hopefully just a clogged hose.

Set timer

Good Afternoon Faye, this is Z! Thank you for your post!

I see you are interested in how to set timer and delay start on your Electrolux washer. However, may I please have the model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the upper front, as you open the door. With this information I provide you the correct instructions on how to do so. Thank you!

I have a whirlpool model # WTW6700TW it's 2 yrs old, it will not drain and said 8-d. I did not get an owners manual with my washer and can't find one on line.

If you go to click on (owner center) on top of the page, scrool down click (manuals and literature) select ( consumer ) then type in your model number, then you can view, save, and of print a owners, warrenty, or parts manual. I think the error was either SD OR LD SD is suds detected either to much or the wrong detergent used. Or LD is for long drain, caused by a restriction under the basket or a drain pump not working properly,,,, Hope this Helps

Just bought this washer,it is level both way. When it comes to spin cycle it stops. water is still left in tub.after a while it starts flashing LD and beeping,So please what is wrong with this machine...

I don't think this is the proper model number, I can't find anything on it. I would imagine the LD means the lid is open -- or at least it thinks it is. You may have a lid switch going bad -- Whirlpools are known for that (Whirlpool made most Kenmores) Try holding the lid down firmly where the switch is during the spin cycle and see if that makes it work. If so, replace the lid switch. Even if that doesn't help, it still could be bad, but that usually helps when they're first starting to go.

Won't fillCalypso whirlpool washer model#GVW9959KQ1 LD on display

LD is long drain error, the machine does not fill because it is in fault mode, but error is on drain system.

If there is a drain problem, the parts that must be checked are drain hose, pressure switch, drain pump assembly, timer control.

Check if the drain hose at the back is kinked or blocked.

Test the pressure switch, blow into the small hose, and use a multimeter to check if switch has continuity.

Remove access panel and get to the drain pump hose to check for ablockage. You will need to disconnect the hose and collect the water.

Keep a container ready to collect water when you undo pump hose.

Ifall the rest is OK, test and eventually replace timer board.Problemwith water pump are far more commonly causing this problemsthenfaulty timer board.

Parts and diagrams available here.

How to remove agitator cam from the upper part of the agitator?

Had same problem with my washer. Check to see if there are little plastic tags holding top/bottom of agitator. after replacing dogs just ensure that you realign with tags so they do not break off.
