Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
I'd like to Know if there's any way Of reseting the HDD1 password without replacing the Hard-Drive? I have A Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527. Also what does this service normally run?
If the password was set on the hard disk from the laptop that it was install on, then you can reset or remove the hard drive password using the BIOS configuration, you need to enter the existing hard drive password to this.
There are no back door paswords available, if you ca't remove the password then the drive is useless. This protection is use to prevent unauthorized access to data stored on the hard drive.
To get the laptop operational again you need to replace the hard drive and install Windows again.
