Question about JBL CREATURE II Computer Speakers
All of a sudden one of my speakers stopped working. I found the "leave the jack slighly off" solution, but when I listen to songs that have two separate guitars playing (for example) one of the guitars will sound very very faint, or not sound at all on either speaker...I checked all the levels on my system so I'm pretty sure it's not the computer's settings. This happened from one day to the next.
-thanks in advance to whomever helps me with this.
You have connector problems- probably bad/bent/worn "jacks" in the speakers or they may be dirty (oxidation, etc) or fatigued. If you can get to the Jack on the inside of the speaker make sure it is making good contact with the plug. Clean the surfaces using alcohol on a Q tip or cloth. Many of these type speakers are not serviceable.
