Don't really know, but this works
Browse music library adding tracks to 'add to selected'
go back tomusic lib and goto playlists
select the playlist you want, add to selected
save selected as playlist, give it the same name as the playlist youeant to add the tracks to andchoose overwritewhen prompted

I'm sure there is a quicker way way, but hey, it works

Hi!i cannot put a songs to my zen v plus...what will i do?

What you should do is to go to all tracks and play one so that it is in the 'now playing' section. Then, hold the return buttontil the menu appears. go on remove (this only removes from the playlist, not delete the file! trust me). then remove all. next, go back to the all tracks and hole return on the track you want to add to the playlist. Go down to 'add to selected'and it is in. (it will automatically select the next song so dont keep pressing it...you should see the selection in the background move down). Do this for all the tracks u want. Go to now playing and hold return, then 'save playlist as', and save as the file. Then it can be accessed through the playlists menu. Hope this helps poeple!

Can't transfer my current itunes list to my new Zen Mozaic

every song you buy from iTunes is protected, therefor you will not be allowed to put it onto another device. a good idea if you have a CD burner in your computer is if you make a CD in iTunes (by making a playlist and burning it to a CD)m and put it into another player. if you have windows you can use windows media center to get the songs. if you have something else it is just as well. when the songs go onto the disk most likely they will not have any protective code on them and you can easily use them. also a downfall is that you might lose all the names...yet you can just look back on iTunes. make sure to label the CDs.

Can't create playlists on my zen x fi

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.

I hope that helps.

Enjoy!

Trouble Filing Songs into Playlists

ok, sounds like a problem I had when I was working out the software! The easiest way to create a playlist with the Zen, is doing it over your PC, if you don't have the software it is available for FREE download at the official creative Zen site, just choose your model and region then hit download- simple! (You won't need Zencast with sleek photo model) ok! install your software blah blah blah, once it's gone through that process, restart your pc and then plug in your zen. the software should instantly recognise that your player is connected, so now, you can open up the software via desktop shortcut or start menu. From here, you've got a whole ton of options, whether to add to your library, create playlists etc etc. Choose create playlist and the process is easy. Left side of the screen is navigation of your Library, right side is navigation of current playlists. Create a new list, then name it. From the top left of the screen, select a folder on your library to open, the lower left displays what's in the folder you are viewing. move tracks over accordingly, holding down ctrl while you click is a fast and easy way to select more than one track at a time. hit add in the center of the screen to move stuff over to your new list. when you're done, save it. when you exit the software and unplug your zen, it should take a minute to update itself, sometimes you may need to restart Zen also to get the playlists updated. I hope this helps!
