how old is your dishwasher? can you put in your model number so i have a better idea which model were talking about? there can be so many reasons for the tablets not to dissolve all the way. it could even lead to your water quality. those tablets and soft water dont mix. a bosch dishwasher can wash perfectly fine with 1tsp of powder soap

Yes a heater problem can definitely be your issue. i dont have access to euroart information to help you properly diagnose whats wrong but you should have water in the dishwasher so hot it steams. if it doesnt steam then you might have a bad (element, heat assy, or control board.) sometimes its even a broken wire

Is the dispenser flap opening up? If not the the dispenser itself could be at fault. As suggested before if the water is not heating then you will most definitely have undissolved tablets. If its euroart there are errors that should occur if not heating E6 or E7 relates to the thermistor open or short circuit. With most heating issues the element failing is the most likely as they are usually not monitored on most models.

SOURCE: Dishwasher 3 in 1 detergent tablet not dissolving.

I believe that the instructions for using these 3-in-1 tablets is to place it in the open dish detergent cup, rather than in the closable compartment, since the tablet needs to get doused by a lot of water in oder to fully dissolve and be effective in getting the dishes clean.

Since the tablets are designed to dissolve more slowly, they are able to be used for the entire range of washing cycles. If it's a constant problem and you don's have an open detergent cup below or next to your closed detergent dispenser, just toss it into the bottom of the dishwasher instead.

The reason that the tablet isn't getting dissolved fully is because the door is preventing the tablet from dropping all the way out and the door is shielding the tablet from quite a bit of water spray.

Another option is to take a look at your owners manual for the dishwasher and see if they recommend these all-in-one tablets versus regular powered detergent and liquid rinse aid.

Hope that helps and best regards!

SOURCE: tablet is not dissolving from my dishwasher drawer

If it drops to the bottom when you open the dishwasher door - your soap dispenser is blocked by the rack or an utencil protruding from the rack. Make sure both racks slide in all the way to the back. (hint: check the middle spray arm inlet, make sure it aligns with the tube on back.
Good luck)

Testimonial: "thats great thanks i'll check it"

SOURCE: I have a Neff Dishwasher S5443X2 and the

Either:

  1. the water does not get into the dishwasher open the dishwasher 3-4 times during cycle, you should see some water at least once, if not - check water valve, water level float and water pressure.
  2. the pump is clogged - there is water, the motor will run but no water is circulated. Check pump filters, check chopper and impeller.
  3. motor in main pump is not working - could be caused by something stuck on the impeller or chopper or could be a problem with the motor itself or control board. Check if line voltage is coming to the motor during wash/rinse cycle.
Good luck,

Think the element or thermastate has gone as it's not disolving the tablets can I fix it myself

One of the first things to check if the dishwasher detergent is not dissolving is the water temperature that is in the dishwasher. If the water temperature is too cold, it may not be able to dissolve the tablet effectively. . If it is below 130 degrees Fahrenheit the setting needs to be increased or contact a plumber for assistance.

Tablet not dissolving, and dishes dirty

Hi,Nicole, try this:
Run the water nearest the dishwasher (usually the sink), getting the water as hot as possible immediately before starting the dishwasher. This will help getting the tablet to dissolve.

The usual cause for dishwasher tablets failing to fully dissolve is a failed dishwasher heating element.

Soap not dissolving in dishwasher. stays in compartment

Hi, dishwasher detergent stays in the compartment because Bosch has designed a gap at the top of the compartment that feeds water onto the detergent before the cover opens. This has possibly been done to soften up deteregent tablets and help them dissolve.

The result is a solidified mass of wet detergent that doesn't come out of the compartment when it opens, and slowly dissolves onto the dishes leaving them coated with alkaline detergent at the end of the cycle. The residual lump of detergent is in the compartment or on the bottom of the dishwasher (refer photo).

The solution is to remove the compartment cover and look for the small gap at the top of the compartment as in the photos. Clean the surface and fill the gap with epoxy glue. This will keep the detergent dry until the cover opens, allowing the detergent to fall freely out of the compartment._1583.jpg
