Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-27FS320 27" TV
Sony tv 27-inch Trinitron about 12 years old or a little more. When I switch to "on" I hear a click and red light appears (sleep) no picture appear on screen. This happened after my grandson keeps pushing the switch "on and off." I have no way of telling if it is only a switch problem or the screen is going bad.
Though I treated this unit decently and if given the choice i will keep it for a long time just like my other a/v equipment at home.
Any help will be highly appreciated
Without seeing the set this is a hard one to fix if the button is slack when you press it then the button is going to be the problem otherwise it could be a transformer that has gone in the set, 12 years is a good age for a tv so i would suggest replacing it with a new lcd or plasma.
