Question about Masterbuilt SBMPG3 Veranda Steel Grill

Veranda gas grill - won't light or low flame

I am using a Masterbuilt Veranda grill, using propane gas. It is less than a year old. Worked fine until about a month ago. Now we can't get it to light, or when it does light, the flame is too low to cook. Any suggestions? Thanks

One of the major problems with propane gas grills, including the Masterbuilt Veranda, is the pressure regulator. They get to where they do not release enough propane. Some, most, have an adjustment screw that will let you correct these problems. I think I replaced my Veranda regulator with another older pressure regulator from an old grill. Makes you crazy if you don't know this.

Sounds like the same problem I have I took the burner apart and found that it was burned out. Now trying to find a new replacement burner have not had any luck finding one yet.

Check the discharge side of the gas valve. Mine had multiple spider nests in it, and when I cleaned them out it worked fine.

Unfortunately, your model was discontinued some time ago and parts are really hard to find. You can try Masterbuilt first 1.800.489.1581. I have checked several of my sources for gill parts and none have the the two parts (cooking grate & burner) that you're looking for. They listed them as "No longer available."

I purchased a used Masterbuilt veranda gas grill. The gas regulator fits a small propane tank. Is it possible to replace the regulator so it will fit a large sized propane tank?
Yes, it can be converted to accept a 20 Lb LP grill tan. Contact Masterbuilt Customer Service
1.800.489.1581 to obtain the new hose/regulator assembly.

I have a veranda stainless grill, two of the legs on the disk that cover the flame has rusted and broken off....how do I replace this part?
My mom and I both have this grill. Mine is partially rusted (1 leg) and all three of her legs have rusted. We used rocks about 2 in in diameter and 1 inch high to solve her problem. Seems that may have to solve all of our problem.

My Veranda grill sends fire out from under the control know panel. Yikes!
SOUNDS LIKE THE BURNER TUBE MAY HAVE A SPIDER WEB INSIDE IT YOU MAY NEED TO HAVE A LOCAL PROPANE CO.CHECK IT .

It is not about a problem - just an inquiry. We have bought Veranda pedestal grill and it has a strange piece - like a big clip hanging on a chain. What it does? (we do not have a manual - if you can...
Do not know where to get the manual. you can try masterbuilt.com and contact them. But the chain with the hook on it is a grease catch. You need to put a soup can on it to work and it goes under the grill where the hole is.

It is strongly recommended that if you cannot see a blockage in the assemblies leading to the burner or damage to the burner itself, that you get professional help before you have a fire or worse.
