Vibration/chatter when braking 1996 Eagle Talon AWD occurs when braking vehicle. Removed 50 AMP ABS fuse which disabled ABS, ABS light is ON at the panel, car still brakes good without vibration/chatter. Any ideas? Can car be driven with ABS disabled?

If brake pedal is chattering or pulsating it is most likely because you need either front or rear rotors, or both. They are rusted or out of round. If there is something wrong with either your abs or traction control, the abs or traction control light will come on & stay on. As soon as these lights come on, it automatically disables abs or traction control. If you would like to take out fuse that disables abs or traction control circuits, it will leave the lights on.You just wont have their functions. If by some strange condition your chattering goes away, then there is indeed something wrong with your abs or traction control.Fuses are labeled abs or traction either under hood or in your fuse panel in car.
Should be on the front top area of the transmission where it connects to the motor. Should be easy to reach but you probably overlooked it because that area gets very dirty.
no the configuration is much different to the bolt pattern and they are also balance differently as well. You can not mis match these or improvise there fit what so ever or internal engine damage will occur
32 psi is a safe bet when i cant find the sticker. i usually put just a little more in for beter gas milage dont go over board thought or the center of the tire will wear more quickly than the rest of the tred.
If you still get current drawing when car is turned off, you will have to start pulling electrical connectors and checking for draw. If no change, connect, and go to next connector, repeating until the draw stops, this is the bad component. I would start with any aftermarket electrical components. Alarm's, radio's, etc. Then I would disconnect and check for draw on any component that get's power when car is off. Horn, light's, brake light switch (usually located towards top of brake pedal), radio, cigarette lighter, etc...Disconnect each component separately and check for current draw.
