hi,
it's a user friendly camera , just adjust the rotary knob to the (M) position this camera will capture movie, the same snap button is used to movie shooting.
The documents you will need most likely vary from state to state. You should check out the DMV website for your state which will have the information you need. My guess is that you will need the registration notice sent by the DMV and a government issued ID.
You may also check to see if you can renew online. In the state where I live it is possible to renew online and you do not actually need to go to the DMV to renew registration.
If these pictures were edited on your PC and the card placed back into the camera, then this is the issue and your camera can no longer read the image file. Some programs will change the structure of the file and that's why you may be having difficulties.
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos and videos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
Go to the DMV and get a new one. Depending on the state you might be able to order it online if you have the proper information (social, dl or identification number, dmv audit number, etc).
