Question about Troy Bilt Tb425cs 26cc 4 - Cycle Curved - Shaft Gas Trimmer with Ez - Start and Speed Spool
I bought the trimmer last year and have followed the recommended guidance for winter storage. Got it out, filled it with the proper mix, followed the cold start instructions - Nothing. Consulted the manual, appears to be getting fuel flow, so I replaced the sparkplug - nothing. That cycles it back to a fuel flow problem and my preliminary inspection doesn't give me much visibility into the lines. Any ideas? Product is less than a year old........Thanks.
Try taking the carb off and you should find 2 adjustment screws on it. turn those in until they stop, do not force tight. while doing this be sure to keep and eye on how far you turn them in. they likely wiil be set at 1 1/2 turns. now that you have done this unsrew them all the way out and get some carb cleaner to spray in there and rinse any old or dried up gas out. then replace the screws at the same setting they were before you took them out. this should take care of it.
