I'm still waiting for stores to sell it. I have yet to read a review of its performance.
From what I understand, the retail price will be the same as the USB version (although stores will, no doubt, discount the USB version).
I don't know. If not now, no doubt they'll make a version to support it.
Firewire promises a much, much higher transfer rate over USB (and even SCSI). This will be a great advantage for CD writers. The problem is that firewire is still new and there's bound to be bugs to be worked out.
I'm looking at the Firewire Que! drive too, but I think I'll wait until there are satisfied people using it.

JustLink CD Writer 52x24x52x, Model ME-320X, sold by Mad Dog Multimedia, Inc. This is an external CD Rom Drive that I picked up at a yard sale and I need drivers for it on a 3 1/2 floppy so I can use on an old laptop running Windows 98 that works perfectly...just no CD Rom.
