Re: My xbox keeps on freezing
I agree with Dozer; compressed air can do wonders for the Xbox. Currently, Microsoft is being sued for the number of Xbox 360 consoles experiencing the "Red Rings of Death." Microsoft is making amends by fixing the Xbox 360 at no charge. You can take it apart yourself and clean it but it'll void your warranty; choice is yours.

I'm assuming it makes a wierd *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* noise through the speakers when it does this. Either that or your screen looks kinda funky. You are about to get the Red Ring of Death, nothing you can do but send it back to microsoft if its still under warranty. If not, and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, buy team hybrids advanced uniclamp fix. google it. make sure you're not squeamish when it comes to opening delicate electronics, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! Sorry.
try these:Solution 1-go to the wii shop channel
Solution 2-Delete internet configuration and set up internet on the wii
Solution 3-Unplug Wii and internet for 5 minutes, reconnect and try again
Solution 4-Check the disks for scratches and smudges
Solution 5-Clean the wii Disk Drive
I have the exact same problem when I play Lego Batman on my Wii. Unfortunately, since the Wii version is the same as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, it has lots of data that the Wii console can't handle sometimes, thus making that loud noise and freezing up. You can't fix it, but the best solution would be to:
1) Unplug the Wii, then plug it back in.
2) Start up the game and try that same part again. It should work. If it doesn't, just keep trying.
*Note: When you plug it back in and start the game again, don't do any other levels before the level that keeps freezing up and making that loud noise. I hope this helps.
it is definately a possibility that where you keep your Xbox is the problem. ive actually gone through 3 so far (thank god for the xbox return service) on the latest one i moved it to on top of a speaker away from anything that gives off heat when in use (like your dvd player) and its outlived the other 2. good luck!
No red lights? Do you have your system properly vented? If you own an older system you may want to consider purchasing a cooling fan. Also some games are known to have a freezing glitch "Ex: Rainbow 6 vegas 1" If the games are freezing all the time after just 10 minutes that sounds like something you may want to contact Microsoft about repairing
