Did you enable it by rt clicking on your desktop, selecting properties, settings, and enable the second monitor or "the TV". Also make sure to go to the proper input on the LCD display

Conecting computer to view screen

Your JVC Tv has AV & Component video inputs only. No direct connection facillty with computer is there. Computers outputs VGA stream video. VGA stands for Vodeo Graphics Arrey. This video stream cannot be connected directly to your JVC set. There are sets, which have this facility, but your set have not.
If you want to connect this set to computer, you have to buy one converter [VGA to RCA out], from open electronic sparepart selleing shops at your town. It will not cost more.
If you have this converter, you can connect your computer directly to the VGA converter, using a VGA to VGA cable, and the output from the converter by RCA connecting wire to TV. In short, the converter will be in between TV and Computer.
VGA to Video converter will look somewhat like this. OK.

Connect Computer to TV Toshiba 19AV600U

There are a couple of options for connecting a computer to a tv. For the Toshiba 19AV600U, you can use the HDMI or VGA ports, depending on your computer. First identify the available video ports on your computer. Make sure that the port is active. (Some laptops disable the external video port to save energy; this may need to be enabled in the BIOS). Get an appropriate video cable (VGA M/M, HDMI to HDMI (M/M) or HDMI to DVI (M/M)) and an audio patch (3.5 mm M/M) cable (if using VGA or HDMI to DVI) and want to use the TV speakers. Turn off both the computer and the TV. Connect the two devices. Then turn on the TV and set it to the desired input.

Now turn on the computer. If the TV is the only video output device connected, a modern Windows machine will probably correctly set the screen resolution correctly. Make sure that the refresh rate is set to 60 Hz for most resolutions. If your computer is a laptop or is connected to another monitor, you will need to adjust the graphics output. On my HP laptop with Windows 7, I right click on the desktop and choose Display Properties. This lets me select output to the internal screen, external screen, an extended screen, or having the same output on both screens. The last two work best when the screens have the same native resolution. After selecting the display, an "are you sure" message will come up. Click OK; otherwise the computer will revert to the previous setting. On my desktop with Win7, this is under Screen Resolution. You can also get here through the Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization. For other versions of Windows, the path is slightly different. (I'm not sure of the routine for Unix or Mac OSX.)

If you want a wireless connection to the TV, you will need an appropriate device. Follow the directions for that unit. (HDMI wireless devices exist but I have never used them.)

The manual for the TV is available here: . See page 18 and page 51 for screen resolution choices.

I hope this helps.

I have to connect my Presario CQ60 computer to my t.v. via a VGA port to view netflix movies. I have no S-video port on the computer. With the VGA I get netflix video but no audio through the t.v....

Hi, on the back of your t.v. near the V.G.A. input should be marked another small hole for P.C. AUDIO INPUT or something to that effect, it actually is nothing more than a headphone jack that you connect to P.C.'s LINE OUT/HEADPHONE jack-it's easy to find, the sound on your computer will stop when you plug in a " MALE TO MALE 1/8 INCH STEREO " cord into it. This will give you sound on your T.V. Good luck I hope this helps, Prodzilla.

What do I need and how do I connect my Toshiba L305 model PSLB8 050302f to my hdtv to view online tv?

I dont believe that laptop has an HDMI port on it. If you have an LCD TV then your TV may have a VGA or DVI input on it. You can connect your laptop to the TV by using a VGA to VGA or VGA to DVI cable. If you your TV doesn't have one of these input ports, then you're not going to get your laptop connected to your TV.

How to huck up tv to desk top computer

Depending on the computer, you can use the VGA port or the HDMI1 port and the PC audio in (above the digital audio out) with the appropriate cables. The audio cable is a 3.5 mm audio patch cable. Use standard VGA or HDMI cables.

Then press the input button to select either the PC (VGA) or the HDMI1 port as needed.

Then make sure the computer is sending a signal to the desired port. (You may need to enable the port in the BIOS.) Make sure the monitor is on when you start the computer. With Windows, you can usually select the desired monitor by right clicking on the desktop and then choosing the display options. (for Win7, see Screen Resolution then detect the monitor.)

I hope this helps.

Which accessories are a 'most have' for connecting my TV to a desktop pc?

You'll need:
•VGA cable
•S-Video Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable
•HDMI cable
•DVI cable
Check the connection options on your TV. If your TV has a VGA connection slot, plug the TV into the computer with a VGA cordlike a computer monitor. Connect one end of the VGA cable to the back of the computer and the other end to the TV. Switch between normal TV viewing to displaying your computer on your TV by selecting the proper mode from the remote control, some remotes will mark the proper mode as "VGA" while others will label it "Computer" or "PC."
Check the back of your computer to see if you have an S cable slot. Connect S cable portion of the S-Video Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable to the computer and plug in the green audio plug to the audio port of the PC. Plug the red white and yellow RCA cables into the matching colors of the RCA slots on the TV. With this method you will need to switch modes from TV to video.
Check the back of the computer and TV for either DVI or HDMI slots. The slots on your computer must match, you cannot connect a DVI to a HDMI. Plug one end of the corresponding cable into the the back of the TV and the other end into the computer. Choose the correct program mode, HDMI or DVI, from the remote to view the computer from the TV.

Hot to connect acer aspire mini laptop to digital lcd tv?

Press the Blue function key and toggle the screens. You can view, the Laptop, the Laptop and Screen, or just the screen.

Also you will need to flick through the channel button on the TV to get to the PC interface. Since you indicated you were using a VGA cable, this is likely the missing element.

Note: The VGA cable does not carry audio, you either had a separate audio interface to the TV or you were using RBG/Composite/S-Video/HDMI. So check to make sure you are using the correct cables.

How do I connect my Laptop computer to my LCD TV?

Every laptop has at least a VGA (computer video connection) and s-video cable port. A VGA cable is preferred if you want to be able to read text on your LCD TV. Check to make sure that your LCD TV has a VGA connector. It's a port that accepts a 15-pin connection so it's pretty easy to spot if it's there. It's just like a computer monitor cable if that helps. Should be able to find it at any local retail store that carries computers. VGA or RGB cable.
