Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
I have a Dell Dimension 3000 which came with WinXP, several disks. Can I put the operating system, not on several disks, but on one, and get that from a "snap-shot" of the OS as it works now? Tell me how. I am not very smart on recovoering, for example, Internet Explorer when I reset my Dell, and I would like to, if it were possible, do this: Just put in one disk, reboot and have things IDENTICAL to a healthy OS. Tell me how or that it cannot be done from just one disk. Thanks a lot!
You can use your recovery disk to start your PC,in an emergency then use recovery CD to repair your operating system,or completely install windows (all personal info.and files will be lost). but if your computer starts up Dell has the tools you need to get you up a running. I included a link to Dell web page that will give the info. you asked for. Larry
