I just purchased a Bialetti stainless steel 6-cup stove top espresso maker. I cleaned it, assembled it according to the instructions, and went to brew my first coffee. I didn't grind the coffee too fine,...

There is a valve in the compartment where you place your fresh, cold water. This valve must not be covered as it is necessary in building up steam pressure to push the brewed espresso upwards. Also, most stove espresso makers have a rubber type gasket that is usually placed on the base of the upper part of the maker. Check that you have a gasket.

I need a new handle for my GB Musa 6 Cup coffee maker. I am from Quebec City, Canada. Where could I get one of these?

It's a Bialetti Musa. The GB stands for Guido Bergna, the designer.

I haven't seen handles on any parts site, just gaskets and strainers.
You might contact Bialetti Canada, or Bialetti USA and get a handle.

Side valve is releasing pressure too early.brikka is 3 months old

check your filter plate to make sure it isn't clogged , that could make the safety valve do it's job and go off.

I have just blown the valve on my bialetti cappuccino maker, can I reuse it?

The valve no, it is dangerous. Steam under pressure is a bomb. If you can detach ?unscrew? the old valve and find a new one, it will be fine.

Brikka don't open!!

Three approaches to this: 1. Apply more force. Easier said than done, because these things, while elegant, are always an awkward shape. If you can't get a pair of rubber strap wrenches, you might try wrapping the bottom section in a couple of layers of cotton to keep it from getting scratched, and clamping it in a vice. Get a loop of cord, hook it over the lug the handle goes onto and stick a pole into the other end. This should allow you enough leverage to unscrew the top. 2. Pour boiling water into the top section, let it heat the top up a bit, then pour out the water and attempt to unscrew (in theory, differential expansion should improve the clearances and make it easier to undo) 3. Combine (1) and (2). A.
