CD/RW software problem

There is no software I used with old drive I uninstalled
that before the new CR/RW. I don't think it was Direct CD
it was Prassi, any way the computer would boot fine as
long as the CD/RW was not connected but as soon as it
rebooted w/connection that software would load and the
start of XP and crash. So I uninstalled it.

Have you tried just installing Nero burn and not the INCD and
also give that a try and see what happens. There is also a newer
version of Nero burn ok.

What software did you have installed for the previous cdrw? DIRECT CD? You
cannot have InCD and DIRECT CD on the system at the same timethey
interfere with each other.
