I have a krups Orchestro 889 that won't pump water. I have thoroughly cleaned machine and tested the pump. The machine won't go into rinse, clean or descale Programmes either. Any suggestions?

Take the covers off and follow the water, it goes from the tank through the flowmeter to the pump, is there water into the pump. Is there water out of the pump, is there water into the tap, is there water out of the tap. There is no magic bullet, just follow the water, where it stops is where you need to be looking. Sometimes the pumps are hard to prime, force water into it if it sounds noisy like a dry pump will. The tap on top of the boiler can fail, as far as I know they are obsolete for that model.

Hotpoint wt640g washing machine with F05 fault. I have read and tried other customers fault finding answers but to no avail. I have taken all the pipes off and checked for blockages (none found) checked...

An F-05 error message means that the pressure switch is jammed on empty or a problem with pump.
The fault is associated with drain out (pump blocked or restricted in some way).
Small panel at rear of machine reveals the pump, pull of the two pipes (Plastic clips hard to get off, slide them sideways), remove wire and unclip pump from base of machine by lifting locking tab and sliding to the left, pump can then easily be cleaned.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Got a zanussi dishwasher zsf6160, lights working but none of the programmes are starting, not taking in any water?

if you can here the drain pump run at the start the fault is with the water valve or blockage in the side tank on the lh side. if you dont here the drain pump it possibly the heater thats down to earth. the electronics can detact it and not start the prog if heater faulty.

Aeg lavamat 64840 keeps draining even when it is empty so no programmes will work We have checked the pump and done all the checks in the manual. It drains water out but then doesn't stop trying to pump...

There are variables but the quickest check with minimum equiptment, i would locate the pressure switch then pull the small clear pipe off that is attatched to it. Firstly , blow into the pipe and see if it isnt possibly blocked.(If it is blocked, the control will see the system as over full and all that will happen is the pump will continue to activate). Before you put the pipe back on the pressure switch, activate the washer for a few seconds and see if the cycle wants to start normally. If so, switch off and reattatch the pipe and do a wash test.

We have a Bosch Exxcel Washer Dryer and it seems that at the end of any programme, the washer does not drain and spin (but does drain and spin in independent programmes) - it just continues at 0.01 mins...

would try cleaning your pump and sump as when its draining without the force of the spin the pump is idle but with the force when you put on other programs ie the spin this will push the water through the pump hope this helps
