How to put a new cord to a sawzall?

remove the handle half and make note of the wiring. If the cord has been soldered you will need a paperclip and straighten one end of it and slide it next to the wire to release it and pull the wire from the switch. After inserting the new wires of the cord GENTLY tug to make sure it locked into place. Let me know if you need more assistance.

My dog chewed up cord. How do I repalce Milwaukee Model 6507 Sawzall

this should be a twist lock cord and all you need to do it twist the connector at the handle area and pull the cord off and buy a replacement, make sure whether it it grounded (3 wire) or double insulated (2 wire), you can go to Milwaukeetools.com and with your serial number look at a schematic for this tool and they also have a dealer locator to ensure that you get the proper one. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Cutting an opening in a steel door for a doggie door. Bought a Sawsall just for this. Any tips?

be sure to use eye protection and gloves to protect you from sharp edges.
first mark your lines on the door using a square, then drill holes large enough for the sawzall blade to fit through in all 4 corners. next use the sawzall to cut your straight lines which were alraedy marked and you now the opening you need. if necessary use a file or dremel tool to clean up and debur edges. hope this was helpful, if so please rate.

I need to change the cord on my 9392 Milwaukee Drill. The trigger does not have any screws and, I cannot not see how to change the cord out. The ground wire is attached to a screw connector.

On the trigger switch, if you look really closely you will see that there are clips inside where the wires go in. If you use a jewelers flat screwdriver or other narrow flat instrument, you can push the clip back enough to release the wire.

If the replacement cord doesn't have clips on the ends of the wires, make sure that you tin (apply solder) to the ends of the new wires before inserting them into the trigger. This is needed to keep the individual strands from being pushed everywhere and causing a short, and stiffens the end, making it easier to insert.

If you need further assistance, let me know.
