When all movement of the machine stops the B.I.C.S controller ( under your right elbow )is detecting a " safety " problem. When you get in the machine, turn the key switch to " on , turn and look at the B.I.C.S controller lights. They need to come on in sequence. Only lamp lit now is the seat, pull down seat bar, and that lamp should light. After you push the button to operate, the other 2 lamps should light. Once in the machine, bar down and it ready to travel, use your arms and raise yourself OUT of the seat about a couple of inchs, if the seat light goes out, replace the seat switch. Also ( will need to raise the cab ) check that the seat switch plunger bolt it tight. If it is loose and not holding the magnet in a fixed poistion, now lighned up with the switch that detects where the magnet is, the B.I.C.S controller thinks the OPERATER bounced out and WILL stop the machine. I think it takes aprox 3-10 seconds to make the ecm re-act to the " NO OPERATER " signal Good luck..

Can you depressurize hydraulics on an 863 when you shut down engine

You need to be a little more specific. What is a 863? We cannot see what you are referring to. Please include all information you can when asking questions.

How do you remove motor in 863 bobcat

Removing the motor would be my last resort. That is a bunch of work.
Be sure that you are totally sure that you can't get the hose while the engine is in.
Remember that working with hydraulics can be dangerous. Lower or support all equipment, and releive hydraulic pressure before disconnecting lines.
HINT: If the ends of the hose are accessible, disconnect them and tape a piece of cord to one end. Then ease the hose out of the restricted space. Leave the cord there, and use it to ease the replacement hose back in.
STAY SAFE!

I put the car on the track and put in my controller but it won't advance

One car on track runs great. When I place second car on its track, it stops. I tried to interchange cars. Both cars work on inner track. Both stop on outer track.

1988 Playskool Expres Train engine won't run. Light comes on but wheels won't turn. How can I repair it?

i recently restored a playskool express train that my son had, now for my grandson.

The on-off push switch is the yellow button in the smookestack also controlled by the yellow tab on the bottom (the on-off track can stop the train with the tab). If the light is on then perhaps the forward reverse switch (the yellow bar behind the cab needs to be pushed forward or backwards. In the middle might be off. I had to replace the motor, its a common sized DC motor 6V at 15000 RPM w/ 2mm shaft, for toys..
The bigger problem I had was that the battery cover was very finicky in how tight you closed it, and the rubber traction bands for the driving wheels were rotten. I replaced them with 1-5/16" ID x 1/8" O-rings. Still slips a little.

My S107 worked fine the fist 5 minute flight. On my second attempt nothing would happen. The green light on the controller just blinks. Occasionally when I turn them both on the chopper just takes off...

Seems like your controller is not working. Try to change its batteries.
With new batteries try the following:
1. Turn the controller ON. Wait until green light stops blinking.
2. Turn the helicopter ON.
3. Give it throttle few times until it starts working.

Sometimes controller can still work even if has a blinking light. But these cases are very rare.

My sharpshooter and remote both turn on, but the helicopter does not react at all, what should i do?

I had this problem yesterday as well :)

My helicopter charged once worked and flew once for about 5 minutes. Then the helicopter stopped responding to the controller and it wouldn't take a charge. When I connected the remote to the helicopter the CHG light came on solid for about 30 seconds. This means that the controller is waiting to be plugged into the helicopter.

A couple of points to check before you go further:
1) make sure that the helicopter is turned OFF before charging!
2) When charging the red CHG light will blink.
3) When finished charging the red CHG light and the green Power light will blink at the same time.
4) After a certain amount of time both lights will stop blinking to save the batteries.

After taking the helicopter apart this is what I have found:
*The helicopter has a 140mA-H 3.7V Li-Po battery.
*The battery has a little board with 2 tiny computer chips. When the battery is empty these 2 chips will completely disconnect the battery. This prevents damaging the battery and this is why the helicopter stops responding when the battery is empty.
*There are two connections between the battery and the little board - a long connection which wraps one time around the battery and a short connection. My problem was with the short battery connection.

Solution --The little board has a short piece of foil which connects to another short piece of foil on the battery. These two pieces of foil are simply pressed together and then glued. In my case this connection broke. To fix the problem I removed the yellow tape and glue and used a soldering iron to solder the 2 foil pieces together. Make sure that you put tape (any household tape should be OK) back on the battery to prevent any shorts.

No power to track and/or train. Power to Holiday Express Train

Check the power circuit that goes to the track if there is an open circuit, open circuit means, break or cut line that can not flow the current going to the track to give a power to the train, ok.

Runs for a bit, then stops

Unfortunately the failure can be occuring in several places on this train. The wall power supply, the track command connector, the Treetop Tender or the loco itself.

The REALLY bad news is that New Bright does NOT offer any repair service or replacement parts for thier product. After the 60 day replacement warranty it either works or goes in the garbage.

However.. when the train stops, try taking a volt meter set to measure DC and place one lead on one the inside of the track and one on the outside of the track. You should be reading about 10.5V DC. (flip the leads if it comes out -10.5V)

If the you still have power on the track, then problem is in the treee top tender or the loco itself.

Look on the treetop tender between the wheels. there is an electric motor brush located between each of the wheel pairs. Make sure that they are making contact with the track. This is where the cars and the loco get thier power from the track.

These wear out pretty quick and once again, there are no replacements available.
