I have a jackeroo 6 burner hooded bbq and when i try to light more than 4 burners on high they all blow out, i have cleaned the burners of any rust that might be blocking flow but it is still happening,...

Try lighting them slower allowing the heat to build, you want the grill completely heated before cooking. If this does not help a couple more situations may be effecting the grill; look at your grills placement... maybe too close to major drafts (ie. as in an upper floor balcony) check to see if your regulator is giving you problems and the valve is open 100%. Assure that your tank is not almost empty. If you are in a cold weather area then prior to cooking bring your tank into a warmer area as temperature can effect performance. I use to live in South Dakota and in the Winter the tank came in the house.

I started up the barbecue for the first time to get all of the winter crud off, and when I start it only the outside burners will flame, the middle one asks like its starting but then burns out?

Probably some of the winter crud has clogged the burner and or the venturi valve. Remove the burner, clean it and check the venturi valve for spider build-up. Wouldn't hurt to check the burner orifice too.

Burner flames don't get hot, like not enough gas.

Try this, Turn off the tank. Disconnect it. Reconnect it. Turn tank valve back on very slowly and then see if you get bigger flame size.

Inside rusted out.

If you mean the burners are rusted out, then yes. You can get replacement burners either through the manufacturer or a big box houseware store that carries Ducane Grills.

MY propane grill will not come up to the 500 plus degrees for grilling.

There are four possible ways this problem could occur.
1. The unit is old and the burner tubes are plugged, either with rust or spider eggs [yes, they like it their in the winter]. Parts are available at Home Depot and Lowes.
2. The unit is designed for either Natural Gas, and you are using Propane. Conversion can be done.
3. Your gas flow is not forceful enough from the Propane tank. Could be an old tank or a bad regulator. Replace bad parts.
4. Your unit isn't getting enough oxygen because there is too much ash and grease under the grill blocking the airflow. Clean the grill.

Main Burners completely rusted out; control knobs to burner...

Get replacement burners and preheat them once. Then paint them with high temp enamle paint to withstand the temps of the grill. The burners are regular untreated steel and not the stainless that one would expect. Painting them will prevent them from rusting out after 2 years. Just make sure you temper them once before you paint them as they will expand a little. Then paint them and enjoy!

Burners keep going out

Remove the burners and clean the inside of the burners with compressed air and or a small long bottle brush.
The burner holes have a rust scale buildup in them.

Grillpro model # 236464 owner's manual

Don't buy GrillPro grills they are junk!!!!!! I have had a GrillPro Model #236464 Stainless Steel Grill and after Three Seasons it has rusted to peices!!!! All Three burners and all Three Flavor Guards and both Channel Cross lites have rusted to a big pile of rust peices. I called GrillPro which is Manufacturered by Onward Manufacturing Company Limited in Canada and all of these pieces have been on back order for over a month and the company says they don't expect the parts anytime soon. Onward Manufactures the following brands:Broil King, Broil-mate, Sterling, Barbecue Genius and GrillPro. I have looked at several of these brands at Menards and they all use the same type of Burners and Flavor Guards that are in my grill so unless you want a big pile of Rust after three years of use I would avoid all of these Brands!!!!!! Forget the problems Take it back where bought and buy something else!! These brands will let you down! Al Gavin - 515-238-3920
