Download drivers and save to disk do not run before saving Then just add files to the software for your burner you can zip them first. This link is a better way to backup your files. Larry

Can not get xp to reload on to new drive

Check the disk for scratchs and scuffs. It sounds like your disk has been damanged. If you have access to a computer with a CD burner you might try to make a copy of your disk, sometimes even a damanged disk can be copied. If this works, then use the copied disk in the computer to install XP. If not you will need a new XP disk.

Can you download acer stuff on a hp laptop cd drive to copy on the acer

You can download the Acer drivers onto your HP laptop and then copy these drivers to an USB memory stick or burn the drivers onto a CD and then install these drivers in the Acer using the USB memory stick or the CD.

I need help finding drivers for my Intel 865gv P4

Which website are you getting your drivers from? Gigabyte has the drivers for that chipset. Are you using a DVD copy program to bring your files to the disk? Do you have enough Disk Space to copy them on to your Hard Disk in a folder you create? This is sometimes the best way to retrieve your files and put them on a DVD.

I have a HP Evo Intel Pentium 4 destop oc, xp pro (dc5000). it crashed and when we went to reload the OS and drivers, we lost most of the drivers and applications. I can boot it up but it will not go...

Since you have an HP, you can order a replacement set of "System Restore" disks from HP, for less than $20 -- much less than buying a "retail" copy of Windows. That set of CDs will have the correct drivers and the same "factory-installed" applications.

If you've used the Drive before, then one of two things is possible. First, your disk may not be formatted. If you're using Windows XP or Windows Vista, you can format the CD if it's a RW (re-writable) type disk.

If it's not an RW type disk then you must use a software package to burn the pics to the CD. Also, make sure the type and writing speed of the CD is compatible with your system. Some older CD writers won't use the Newer 8X type disks. You'll need the newer type to us that type disk. If you're using older disks with a newer driver, then go purchase new disks and try again.

To make sure the driver itself is working, put in a disk you purchased, which you know is good, and see if your drive can read it. If not, then the drive is bad.

Copy of windows setup cd

Hi,
If you want to get it legally, then go to a store and get it.
If you want to get it illegally, then download some torrent file and burn it in a CD. make it a bootable CD. but you cannot be assured that you will get the product key in all the torrents. try various torrents and get the right one.

I have a all-in-one series 2410 it is a hp some how my printer got detleted from my internet it will print copies fromm photo copy but not from my compture what can I do to fix this

If you have the installation disk, uninstall the printer completely from the controll panels add/remove programs section. also check start -settings - printers & faxes - and uninstall it there if it still shows after you get done in the controll panel.
make sure it's connected, restart the computer and put in the install cd, follow the prompts.
if you do not have the cd, go to HP's website and download the appropriete driver to your desktop , so you can find it when you need it.
Regards, and thank you for using Fixya.

Need a disk to set up my maxtor drive

The disk that u need is maybe provide by your motherboard vendor. It's in your motherboard driver & device cd provided when u purchase the pc. Try to search the "sataraid or satarid floppy" in the cd. Then copy it into a 3.5 floppy disk. Remember, the files or folder that u will need to copy must have the txtsetup.oem file.

Copy files from old computer and transfer to new computer

Although Vista comes with an Easy File Transfer Wizard it is not compatible with Windows 98.

You will need a CD burning program such as Nero Burning Suite or Creative CD Writer or here is a link to a FREE one.
