I don't think the attachment worked. Anyway, according to my operation booklet, to re-engage the trolly pull the manual release handle foreward toward the opener at a 45 degree angle so that the trolley release arm is horizontal. The trolly will reconnect on the next UP or Down operation either manually or by pressing the Door control push button. This works for Chamberlain Liftmaster Model 1000SDR or Moderl 2000SDR

How do I check a wireless garage door keypad, to see if it is transmitting?

These remotes don't loose the programming code when a battery goes dead, most likely the remote or the board on the opener went bad, do any other remotes work? You can take the remote to an auto parts store and test it there. (They have a tester for key fobs)

Power went out so I had to open my garage door manually. Now I cannot fully connect it back to the track. It just goes half way. I can see the problem but can't seem to get it to fully connect. Help.

Normally you pull straight down on the rope and then release. Now move the door until the two halves of the trolley line up and it should snap together.

The wall button has a green light that is blinking and the car remote will not operate the garage door but the wall button works

this just happened to us today as well. the wall pad has three buttons: one large back-lit button pad to open it and a lock button and a light button. the open button was blinking quickly and would open the door, but the car remotes did not work. I found that by pushing both the "lock" and "light" button at the same time for about 3 or 4 seconds, the back-lit "open" pad stopped blinking and went to steady green. I went back to the cars and checked the remotes there. both opened the door.

hope this helps someone out there

GARAGE DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES ON OWN LT BLINKS SEVERAL TIMES

Anytime a door opens and/or closes by itself I look for a smashed wire between the motor unit and the wall button.

If the wire is smashed the insulation becomes so thin that power will leak thru the insulation and activate the door.

Loosen the staples with a small screwdriver and slide the wire about ½ inch to move any areas of thin insulation away from the staples.

The second thing would be a bad wall button or a remote with a sticking button.
Or a remote in someone’s purse that gets the button pushed by other stuff in the purse.

The test is to disconnect the push button wires at the power unit. If the self operation stops you have located the problem. If you reconnect the wires and disconnect the wire at the wall button this will tell you if the problem is the wire or the button.

This can also interfere with remote controls

HOPE THIS HELPS
