I don't think the attachment worked. Anyway, according to my operation booklet, to re-engage the trolly pull the manual release handle foreward toward the opener at a 45 degree angle so that the trolley release arm is horizontal. The trolly will reconnect on the next UP or Down operation either manually or by pressing the Door control push button. This works for Chamberlain Liftmaster Model 1000SDR or Moderl 2000SDR

Found this wiring diagram for lift gate, if that is what we're talking about? Not only check the fuses, check fuse circuit for voltage. Use a testlite.

My remote didn't open doors, on my1998 Saab 900S, so I used key to unlock manually. The alarm went off, and car won't start. When I open the door the anti theft alarm goes off again. This is E

Replace the battery in the remote, then reset the system.

Resetting a Vehicle Anti-Theft System
This is how you reset an anti theft system if you have the anti-theft light on, or your car is cranking, but you have no spark.

Doing a full reset of the anti-theft system.

Disconnect both battery leads for at least two hours.
Hold the negative and positive leads together for 5 minutes to fully discharge any power.
Put the key in the ignition, but not turned on. VERY IMPORTANT!
Connect the positive lead.
Connect the negative lead in one swift movement.
Wait 15 minutes for the system to fully reset.

Went to my garage to get items out of freezer and my garage door opener was down, no one handle the remote, or push any buttons at all, went back to the garage to get bottle water and the door was wide...

Anytime a door opens and/or closes randomly or doesn't work consistently I look for a smashed wire between the motor unit and the wall button.

If the wire is smashed the insulation becomes so thin that power will leak thru the insulation and activate the door or interfere with the remote signal.

Loosen the staples with a small screwdriver and slide the wire about ?½ inch to move any areas of thin insulation away from the staples.

The second thing would be a bad wall button or a remote with a sticking button.

Or a remote in someone

Pulled red cord to open manually when power went off. How do I engage to open now that power is back on?

With your remote in your hand...operate the closer into the down position, hold the arm up so the catch is by the traveler. you may have to prop the door up on a pail or? to do this.operate the closer into the up position, as the traveler goes by it will catch the top of the rod as it goes by if you have it in the right position. if this sounds too dangerous for you, pull the plug on the opener when its midway in its travel, lift the door up and have a helper connect the traveler to the rod. you may have to pull the red cord to upen the latch with either method. Craftsman Garage Door Opener won't work after storm

Check to see if the trolley (the part that slides back and forth on the rail and is connected to the door) is jammed against the bolt just in front of the motor unit. If so, remove the bolt and run the door until it is closed. On the side of the motor unit there is an 'up limit' control. Turn this 3 turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Be sure to replace the bolt.

GARAGE DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES ON OWN LT BLINKS SEVERAL TIMES

Anytime a door opens and/or closes by itself I look for a smashed wire between the motor unit and the wall button.

If the wire is smashed the insulation becomes so thin that power will leak thru the insulation and activate the door.

Loosen the staples with a small screwdriver and slide the wire about ½ inch to move any areas of thin insulation away from the staples.

The second thing would be a bad wall button or a remote with a sticking button.
Or a remote in someone’s purse that gets the button pushed by other stuff in the purse.

The test is to disconnect the push button wires at the power unit. If the self operation stops you have located the problem. If you reconnect the wires and disconnect the wire at the wall button this will tell you if the problem is the wire or the button.

This can also interfere with remote controls

HOPE THIS HELPS

Check the light beam safety at the door's bottom, to see if something is getting in the line of sight.
