When you search for devices in the bluetooth menu it will find the other device that has bluetooth enabled and under options it should say pair and it will ask for a code and you can just use 1234 and it will work. ALSO make sure both devices have viability enabled in the bluetooth menu

I can't download the pictures off my pantech cell phone

Hi,

You can connect your Pantech Link to your Windows 7 computer using the phone's built-in Bluetooth adapter. If your computer doesn't have a Bluetooth adapter bulit-in, you can connect the phone via a USB port. Once you connect your Link to your computer, you can use the phone as a modem, or transfer files back and forth between the phone and the computer.

Press the "Menu" key on the Pantech Link and select "Settings."

Open "Connectivity" and choose "Bluetooth," then "Activation." Set the option to "On" and press "Select."

Click "Back" and open "Visibility." Click "Show" and press "Select."

Click "Start" on the PC task bar, then click "Devices and Printers."

Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and left-click "Bluetooth Settings." Check the box labeled "Allow Bluetooth Devices to Find This Computer" and click the "OK" button.

Click "Add a device" at the top of the screen. A new window pop ups, showing the nearby Bluetooth devices.

Highlight the Pantech Link and click "Next." A random number appears on the next screen.

Wait for the Pantech Link to prompt you for the number, then type the number into the phone and press "Select" to finish the pairing process.

Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter on the computer and left-click "Bluetooth Settings." Uncheck the "Allow Bluetooth Devices to Find This Computer" box and press the "OK" button. This prevents the computer from showing on other Bluetooth devices.

Regards.

I have an orange amsterdam phone trying to pair with bluetooth and it asks me for an activation code. I have never set one and the book doesn't tell me what the factory setting is

Pairing is a two part activity. On the device you are trying to pair with, you will need to set it to search for a bluetooth device to pair with. On that device, it should give you an activation code.
For example, when pairing with my car, I go into the menu, phone, and "pair". It tells me the activation code is 0000 (pretty common one, so you may want to try it). I put this in, and the phone pairs with the car.

How do you connect h700 motorola bluetooth to pantech matrix

give the bluetooth an initial charge, turn it on, go to the bluetooth settings on the matrix (refer to the owners manual), its in the menu somewhere, all phones are different. When you get there go to "add device", it will take a moment to find the bluetooth (make sure its on). A list will come up, pick the right bluetooth, then it will ask for a passcode, its default is usually always 0000, hit ok and your done
