Tried calling Whirlpool today regarding F1 error. They (Hassie) did say they have been getting alot of calls regarding this code but nothing to bring about a recall. She said she could send me new part but an authorized repair man must put it in. If that would happen Im already in the hole for $240,and with only a 90 day warrant it wont be worth it. Does anyone know the part number for the control board that a Cabrio mod#WTO6600SB1 washer would use. My research gives me the following: W10201186, W10112112 and whirlpool gives me 8562490. Might just buy part and put it in my self. Thanks

Re: F1 error on Cabrio washer
Pressure Signal Out-of-Range F then 1 flashes when the control detects an out of range pressure signal. ➔ Check pressure hose connection from tub to machine/motor control. Is hose pinched or kinked? ➔ If F then 1 repeats numerous times after POWER is pressed and the pressure hose connection is not pinched or kinked, replace the machine/motor control. my check with part supplier is W10189966

Hi, The "F1" error code on the Whirlpool cabrio is quite common, and generally has to do with the control board. Replacing the control panel may resolve this issue. However, I believe Whirlpool is aware of the F1 issue with the Cabrio, and is fixing some machines for free. Please call 1-800-253-1301 for more details and see if you are eligible for a free repair.

Hi, just to let you know - I called 1-800-253-1301 and explained
that this is regarding the infamous Cabrio - F1 problem that hundreds
of people have complained about all over the internet and apparently is
a common problem. The lady (KIM) acknowledged that Whirlpool is having
this issue and she immediately scheduled a Service Tech appointment for
tomorrow. She confirmed that the service call and any part will be
picked up by Whirlpool.
There is a recall for the Cabrio for having the "F1" error(I had mine fixed by whirpool for free). Sounds like you are getting the F1 error code. If you have not had the washer repaired under the warranty program then you should give Whirlpool a call and get it repaired under warranty. When you call them say that you are getting the "F1" error code and have read on the internet that there is a recall. Have your model number, serial number and date of purchase available. They will send someone out to inspect the washer and repair if they have the control board in stock(they had to order mine and it took 2 days for it to arrive). I also located the phone number you will need to call for service...1-800-253-1301
CALL 18002531301 AND TELL THEM YOU HAVE THE F 1 CODE PROBLEM. THEY HAVEN'T CALLED THIS A RECALL, BUT THEY ARE CALLING IT A CUSTOMER AWARENESS PROBLEM.
